Nothing to do with the stadium or transfers....
Our opening game on Saturday is against Wigan (bet you didn't know that!), anyway, they were the only team we did the double over last season. We want a good start regardless but let's hope we get more doubles this season....that would be a sign of improvement for sure!

Oops! We did the double over Watford too but I was just counting those teams still in the Premiership! Just wanted to clarify!

Damn it! I knew I should have joined the stadium debate!! I was wrong...we did not do the double against Wigan!! My apologies!
This only underscores the fact that more doubles would definitely be a sign of progress....if I’m not mistaken we only had one double last season (against Watford).

Yeah, it was 50% of Beattie’s contribution to the season.

It was definately a 2-2 draw, but it should’nt have been, we were 2 nil up, when Kilbane of all people floated in a cross for Scharner to head in, and some catastrophic passing from Neville allowed them to eqalise.

Lets not forget tho that although we didnt win many (or any?) doubles, that only 1 team did the double on us and they were the eventual champions so that aint bad!!

We doubled Liverpool. If we are including draws.
