The Moyesiah Commeth
Comments (13)
If what I'm reading turns out to be true, the Moyesiah will have fooled us all if we end up splashing £20 million on players.
Sly approach to fool teams we have no money and grab two big signings at the last minute. I just hope it turns out to be true and not another Billy Liar theatrical production.
And the Moyesiah said, go forth and watch Everton for I am the Moyesiah and those that follow me will be rewarded with results a plenty. And on the 5th day, he completed his team and proclaimed, "I am the Moyesiah, I have created my team and it will win the FA Cup"
It's just a question of faith..

Fair play to you... you made me smile and after a very hot stuffy day in the office looking at all the sunshine I couldn’t get out in, I appreciated being cheered up!!

Well it has my blood pumping anyway. But I’m a realistic sort of bloke this isn’t going to happen in a million years. I don’t always blame Kenwright’s theatrics but this is somewhat similar to the Smith and Saha sagas a few years back. Offer low and get laughed at but keep the fans interested for more news. Then the seasons upon us and we just settle in. No new faces just the same lads. Which I like and I am proud of the Baines signing also. I can’t see Southgate parting with Yak when Viduka just flew the coup. Fernandes even admits he wants to stay and play at Benfica. Next............

Yer, thing is, Fernandes is happy at Benfica, and Benfica say hes not for sale. Boro also say Yakubu isnt for sale, even at £10million.

I wouldn’t worry too much what players say - plenty are "happy" and then move, and plenty of "unavailable" players are sold at the right price...
They may well not come, but such comments mean next to nothing.

Well a £10million pound for yakubu has just been rejected, I cant see us going any higher for someone worth half the price

Mr Parker
Re winning of trophies
Please note: no football clubs from outside the LCC boundary will be allowed to parade in what will shortly be be a one-team City. One trusts 20 times around your new home will suffice. After all these years, Mr Kenwright will finally make Mr Shankly’s famous jibe an actuality. Kind Regards etc..

The important thing is that the money appears to be there and sooner or later Moyes will spend it on a striker and midfielder.
Its been a difficult summer but I never doubted Moyes. I always believed he wasn’t really interested in supposed targets Smith, Nugent & Koumas.
I always felt he was taking his time making sure his decisions were correct. I knew moyes would be working behind the scenes to make things happen and hopefully now our patience will be rewarded with a couple more big signings.

Public relations. Stadium vote then big name signings splashed across the internet and papers. Pull the other one.
This has been played out before many times in the past few years.
I’m still hoping I am proved totally wrong this time. But we’ll see.

If Sunderland can splash out 9 million pounds on a goalkeeper that I hadnt even heard of then surley Fernandes and Yakubu are worth the fees commanded for them?. We have to face reality that is the madness of the Premiership these days..A goalkeeper from Hearts..Going to a Premiership club..for 9 million...I cant believe this one..Surely if this Craig Gordon was that good some of the top clubs in Europe would have been after him..No it just goes to show that most clubs now can spend nine million and not even notice it anymore..All the more reason why Everton should sign two players of excellent quality that could really impact next season
