I received a pack from the club with a voting slip yesterday which I found very strange as I am neither a season ticket holder or a shareholder and haven't renewed my Evertonia membership for the past two years. I go to as many games a season as possible (not nearly enough!) and buy some things from the online store but that's it. Don't get me wrong I think its great to have a say but just wondered if they had widened the net.
On another note why does the club not get Vogel in for the reported £1M now they suddenly have all the money to spend on the same week the vote papers go out. Hope there is some fire behind all the smoke and we get some quality in but it's like groundhog day every transfer window usually ending at midnight on the last day with the usual zip.
Keep up the good work lads, love the site. It's my first port of call every morning to see what's happening.

Vogel is no spring chicken (either are the two boys) so id say next summer a young defensive midfielder is a priority.
Attentions need to be turned to the striker issue and the possibility of snapping up manny (class act).
I much prefer to see Mido for 6 than Yak for 12 million. I believe its hes better value for money and is still only a young man. But there has to be a few other options that have been kept under wraps.
All a little late if you ask me. Id love to know where (if true) this money has came from ??
It smells like typical Kenwright. "We tried but unforunately nothing materialized", COCK !!

I did come across that earl story this morning and suggestions have been that moyes put it to the board "invest or im off". Whether theres any truth to this i suppose we’ll never know. I very much hope not though.
Reports today are also suggesting the possibility of the Manny deal being done in the next 24hrs. This I find very difficult to believe due to his 3rd party ownership but hopefully they can worth something out.
As far as Yak goes Im not questioning the mans ability. I would love to see him in an Everton shirt however, I just think that for 12 million you could get a player of better quality. The question i suppose is who? He certainly would have to be bought from abroad and agreed, theyre would be an element of risk with regards to the premiership ’settling in period’.
Overall I think the latest developments at our club have been positive. Im delighted that we finally have a settled back 4, all of who are relatively young. Theres no denying that a striker is needed and our midfield could do with a little beefing up but I think that we have a lot of things to be excited about.
Bring on Wigan !!

The best thing about our current situation is we are getting to the point where just a few more bits of quality could transform us from a good team to a very good one. Exciting times I say.

The allocation of voting slips hasn’t been widened. I assume it’s because of your lapsed Evertonia membership that you have a vote. Use it with impunity as the only real criteria for being allowed a vote is that you are a genuine Evertonian and from what you say it would seem you undoubtedly are.
