Why do I have voting papers?

I was rather confused the other day when my wife and I received letters from Everton. Inside each letter was a voting form. I have never been a season ticket holder or a shareholder. The only kind of membership of the club I have had was being a member, along with my wife, of Evertonia the season before last. I find it strange that I have received voting papers when I don't appear to be eligible. Any ideas? Have any other Evertonia members received voting papers?

I thought recent membership of Evertonia WAS a criterion fro voting?

All Adult Evertonia members during the past 3 years get a vote, from what I remember of the criteria mentioned a few weeks ago.
