Are JJB doing enough for us?

My girlfriend and I went into Chorley town centre yesterday intent on buying the new Everton home shirt. We located the local JJB and proceeded to look for the Everton shirts. As JJB are the official distributor of our shirts you would have thought they'd be in the front window. WRONG. Maybe they were in front of you as you walked in. WRONG. In fact I had to ask an assistant to point out where they were.
They were tucked into a corner, with only three racks of space next to the Newcastle shirts which had 4 racks. When I quizzed the assistant about it he had said the store manager had put them there. When I spoke to the store manager about the fact that Everton pay good money for JJB to sell these shirts he just shrugged.
Am I the only one who is annoyed about this? Why have we outsourced our shirt sales if the retailer doesn't give a stuff about us? I was left very annoyed with the situation, but at least I had a new Everton shirt with Yobo number 4 on the back. Anybody else had issues like this??

Same story in Guildford and Reading a few weeks ago. When asked, the assistant responded - "No mate, we only have Liverpool shirts", and then proffered an ironic smile...

Everton paying good money for JJB to sell the shirts ?
I thought it was the other way round ? They pay us for the exclusive distribution rights for all our gear ?
As for Guildford and Reading, they’re hardly likely to have huge stocks of EFC gear there are they ? I’ve never seen a Reading shirt for sale...well, anywhere actually.

More worrying is the situation in the Liverpool store in Clayton Square! In all their window-dressing etc we are a very poor relative to the RS.

Norwich JJB had the Everton shirts in the middle of a rack full of Chelski shirts. Pure luck I spotted one at all. No kids shirts or memorabilia though.Plenty if you support RS, Manure, Chelski, Arsenil, LA Galaxy, Real Madrid, Barca. Need I go on. No Norwich shirts though.

In reply to tom, they happened to have Newcastle, Rangers & Celtic gear in stock & on display. Read into that what you will but I expected them to have at least one shirt..

face it fellow blues efc are shoddily run. I regularly walk down anfield road back of stanley park to get my tickets or visit megastore and all you see is people walking down with lfc merchandise bags nobody visits our place on a non match day as our profile is shite low under these boffins. Even our retail partner (JJB) aren,t,interested in us.

Obviously not Tony by your experience and many others that have brought this issue up. The Everton Football Club company in their wisdom decided to sell off this part of the business. The same jokers who can’t see past the end of their own noses want our blessing to take us off to Kirkby. No chance

Yes and JJB are getting their fair share of publicity by way of anything bought in the Everton Super-store is put in a JJB bag - so its about time they did something for us. Frankly I am fed up walking in to their stores and seeing Red shite shirts being given prominence. One expects Man U and Chelsea paraphanalia to be on sale.
Why didn’t Jags play on Saturday.
