The Mail Bag

Moyes & Maths

DM constantly tells us what we already know - we have a small squad and need more cover and competition for places, even more vital this season with a Euro campaign. He has let four players go and signed four. Hmmmn. I didn't get my Maths O-level but you don't need Carol Vorderman to work it out.

Also, four of our better players are currently injured - one for at least 4 months and one for maybe 6 weeks. Can he not be given the Tesco money NOW (it's a done deal methinks) and bring in two or three quality players for the full season and not January for four months?

Having seen Jason Koumas play for Wigan last Saturday, I don’t think we have missed out!! When he got two goals in a pre-season game, I worried that we should have bought him. Quite happy that we didn’t - hope I don’t live to eat my words!!

Was anyone else surprised at the lack of activity outside the Ground regarding the big question - move to Kirkby or not. Expected to be met by demonstrators all trying to talk us into voting No but not a sign except for the aeroplane with the banner circulating over the ground.
