Golden Ticket

I?m not a season ticket holder, never have been, never will be as my job does not allow it but I do get the sense of feeling that unless you are a season ticket holder you are not really classed as a fan by the majority.

I went to my first game at GP when I was about 5 with my dad. It was awesome, but even then I was sat behind a stanchion. I go to about 10 games a season and order my tickets online; however, as you walk towards your seat you never know what type of view you are going to get. Even the seats which are not classified as ?obstructed view? have a very poor ?C? value. If I was a season ticket holder with an unobstructed view I may very well vote no but let's face it, it GP has had it?s day. Driving past the loop this morning I just had to smile, it is a pathetic site, dreamt up by the ?No? campaigners. Come on, boys, come up with something better than that please.

I don?t have a vote and trust Everton fans will do the right thing for the club either way. However, I would urge fans to hold off until more information has been presented from both sides. With this vote you have been presented with the equivalent of a Willy Wonka golden ticket, please use it wisely.

Once you’ve been bitten by the blue bug it gets you, there are plenty of posters on this site who live on the other side of the planet, it doesn’t make them any less of a blue, it then becomes tedious distinction between fan and supporter where a fan would love the club but not necessarily invest hard earned wedge in it through tickets to the games whereas a supporter would go to games and more likely buy replica kits etc. Neither are lesser or greater in my eyes but as this recent stadium mess is proving and as I recently posted it’s divisive and create factions which will live long in people’s memories.

Sadly there are a section of fans that Look down on any one who is not a season ticket holder or travels over 25miles to the game stupid I know but they are out there
