Brought a tear to my eye to see little curly Alan Ball running round like a human dynamo.

Proper football, fantastic.

Paul,

A big hello from Beijing, China. This is absolutely brilliant footage! As a slightly younger member of the Goodison faithful I have never seen the stadium quite like that many thanks for putting it up.

Regards,
Colin

A classic clip. As a younger fan I never realised just how good those former greats were. We were all over them. Also great to see an English team beat Germans in a shoot out for a change !

Quite funny that our goal came after the left-back hoofed the ball forward to nobody from our own half.

A pleasant reminder of a long ago birthday.
only downside was not getting into the Winslow after the game till 10.25 in the dark days of 10.30 last orders.

"Un das is Kendal" Wunderbar.

Isn’t it funny to see how way back in 1970 we weren’t able to convert posession and chances into goals - just like now! We battered them otherwise, and there were some famous names in that German side!

Remember the game that’s what football was all about the Germans were no mugs,I remember moggys tackle on their full back the guy looked horrified and Andy Rankins face after the last pen it makes you realise what our younger fans miss out on so lets give them more respect.

That was brilliant to watch... I was actually nervous watching the penalties there... Classic stuff. That’s where we need to get ourselves back to on a regular basis. Goodison needs a few more nights like that before her doors are closed for the final time..

Two great clips, I so remember Wembley 1966. I was in G64, cost 7and six(37 and a1/2p) and when we went two down a bloke by us got out a crucifix and started praying, then the goals came and we sang "Attack,Attack, Attack" at the top of our voices. And there are some people who go on about another Final in ’66.
Then in The Munchengladbach clip, that moment when Harvey wins the ball and that reverse pass to Whittle! What a player.
Thanks for the memories.
