BBC - what do they know that we don't

Comments (5)

Checked the squad on BBC today and guess who they have as No 37. Did they decide not worth taking him away only to put him back later? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/shared/bsp/hi/football/statistics/players/f/fernandes_288661.stm

Also spent some time reading old match reports on ToffeeWeb in the last couple of days. When you see the dross of 6 years ago in terms of player quality and the teams with 6 recognised defenders being sent out ? we should never complain where we are now. It is light years away from those dark days.

We might not be there yet - but we are a heck of a lot closer to where we want to be than where we have come from - and let us never forget that.

Bl**dy BBC. What’s the headline link on the front page of the BBC News website ... "Spurs slip to second defeat". What about "Everton win away?" or "100% start for Everton"?

I wonder, had the BBC sent a reporter to the game in which W.R. Dean bagged his 60th, would the headline have been "Arsenal drop a point at Goodison"?!

You should have a look at the squad list on ITV text page 508 and see who they have as our No 9.
