The Mail Bag

Optimism

I?m a Walton-born Canadian fan of the Blues and I?m thrilled to bits by their impressive start. I was just a teenager when Everton went through that incredible 1984-6 rejuvenation. I?ve followed their travails religiously throughout all the time I?ve lived in Canada, but more than any season I?m really lit up about their chances this season. I think with Arteta, Cahill and now it seems Osman, along with the potential of Anichebe, we could well have the best attacking midfield in Europe. Our defence remains top notch ? keep it up Lescott, Yobo & Howard ? and hopefully we can avoid injuries and really produce an effective front line: keep it up AJ!

As for the stadium, I'm not convinced by either line of argument. There seem to be good points for both sides. However, as a True Blue, I think all fans have to live by the motto, "Nothing But the Best". Better minds than mine have good opinions on our next move but I do know one thing ? we as fans expect and deserve the very best.
