Footage of the Spurs win

Comments (7)

You can view some of the highlights of the win here on the Daily Telegraph website. Be warned though the commentary is pro-Spurs and they missed Joleon's and Stubbs' goal, and the pundit ends by saying "Everton are temporarily top of the table" (twat). Nevertheless, its worth viewing to see Ossie's great finish and a fine save from Tim.

The Telegraphs match report gives a glowing account of our display, a read that’ll make you proud.

Can’t be viewed outside UK. Are there any other sites with footage that can be viewed from Oz.

I just watched the highlights clip you linked to. To watch and listen to it you would assume we’d totally fluked the win. Most of that reel seemed to consist of Spurs coming at us!

Quite so Stuart, it’s totally at odds with the glowing, pro-Blues match report in the paper.

I can’t remember sneering at pro-Spurs commentary so much since a certain team in Blue whupped their asses at Elland Rd (1995, MotD Live), ruining hopes of a Spurs vs Manyoo ’Dream’ final.

Har de har har!

What a day that was as well, Amokachi coming off the bench, Joe Royle saying that he didn’t want to do the sub, arms flapping, waving at the ref, alas it was too late and Amokachi wrote himself into Everton folklore.

The commentary was all pro-spurs on that match as well, what can you do? it’s always the same with clubs from the capital. Richard Keys is a twat though I’m not sure which team he supports but he seems to never want a Northern team to win.
