The Mail Bag
If the vote is yes, what next and when?

The Club has told us that if a majority of those who are allowed to vote produce a No result then talks with Tesco and Knowsley will cease. What they have not told us (as far as I am aware) is what happens if the majority is in favour of the move to Kirkby.
Will the Club sign an irrevocable contract with Tesco and Knowsley? What time-scale is involved? I ask because many Yes-voters are under the impression that by voting Yes they are not closing the door forever on any other suitors with attractive, viable, alternative schemes that might surface after a Yes-majority is recorded.
What I am seeking is not your opinion but facts that you might have to hand. Perhaps clarification of this point should have been made by EFC and Tesco at the outset and the absence of such is a worry. Well-informed types (Richard, Steve, Neil, David et al.) I am relying on you to uncover the facts and to relay them to the electorate as soon as possible.
