Children

I have just read the post by E. Humphries. More to the point, i have read the replies by some of you children to MK's response.
This used to be a website where you could express your view and opinion and get an adult response via another posting.
The worst thing the editors have done in my humble opinion is open up the response for immediate reply. It is now becoming more like a chat room for children.
The abuse you lot handed out was awful, not wanting to sound like a groveling sycophant. Do you lot know how much work is put into a website like this, you should be grateful he spends his time running this site for abusive clowns like you lot.
Why don't most of you go back to the forums and chat rooms that suit your mentality?
If you must reply try and make it constructive. Christ! Two games in and you lot think we're world beaters.

Fair points Dave, particularly the last paragraph. There is no doubt the boys do a great job on this site providing us all with the latest information and talking points involving the club. I agree that some people abuse the immediate reply facility but what can you do?
I too read the post of E Humphries, MKs response to it and I posted on it myself. To be honest I could see Michaels point but I felt that he was being over critical on what was a great away result for the blues. Pienaar has just come of the back of a poor season for Dortmund and we have won both our games, so what right does he have to be in the team? But anyway....
Just as Michael and others can be dismissive of those who make dubious points on this site I think it is only fair that others can dish out the same when an equally wayward comment is made, regardless of who makes it.
Apart from the odd idiot I still think that this site gives us the highest level of debate and argument on all issues Everton. Its always my first port of call and will remain so.

That is exactly my point Stan.
I am not saying MK is not up for critisism, he is like the rest of us.
But make it constructive and not downright offensive and derogatory.

I agree that people lowering themselves to personal insults is out of order, but that post about Pienaar being world class and sat on the bench was a poor one and the reply by MK was equal to it,after a result and performance like that where everyone is buzzing it annoys most of us to hear a fellow evertonian basically saying "yeah but the football was crap and all we did was hoof it and defend in the second half"! Even if all you can muster up is "it was a good result" then that is miles better than slagging the team and the manager off!

Freedom of speach allows people to say what the fuck they want when the fuck they want to say it - to a certain degree of course; personal insults are just silly and no one should take any notice of them anyway mate.
I think the threads are useful and the open forum is a great way to open debabte. Its a way to get your opinions across. If you don’t like the comments they don’t read them. EH offers his opinion and should be open to critisism when he says somethings as fuckin stupid as he did the other day. In other words I couldn’t disgree more mate.
