I really feel that the LOOP site is being overlooked. The official website is now claiming that it is waaay too small... Surely in this day and age of engineering that is a very bold comment? But of course the the Loop is just a fly in the ointment to the club in the present state with all that "funding" that is available for Kirby Town, which is basically what we are being told will be "delivered".
Of course there are no figures that match any semblence of good accounting from the Club (WHY?) but surely it is worth looking into. All you fans who say "but we must move now"... well, hold on for a second (week, month... club parlence)
Of course we need a drastic change of ground, no-one is in dispute of that. But to go along with the club's "No plan..." is tantamount to negliglence to you and all us other fans. The fact that there is no 'Plan B' is quite catergorically indefencible.
I know you are going to come back at me and say well there is not an option. MY POINT IS VERY SIMPLE; a club of Everton's stature and all that we are should never, ever think, even for one milisecond, that moving to Kirby is the right move.
Again "But we have no choice"?? Why?? We should have a fucking choice and anyone not demanding or expecting one should maybe think WHY we don't have one. Your emotions are maybe being torn because of the club's propaganda. Really, funding's fucked, we know. But what's the fucking rush out of Goodison? OK, we are not making enough money and of course we really need to address that. BUT AT WHAT COST...?
Moyes is surprising us more and more and my bet is that this season will give everyone a surprise, but I would say that, being an Everton fan. Somewhat dislodged out in the Far East. It's not worth it.
Yes, where is the funding proposition for the Loop? Same place as Kirkby Town's I would guess? Nowhere... The People's Club's chairman has not uttered one word... One word on the matter in months... This is the man who is bascially in charge of our club, which to me, is just as pathetic as the The People's Club's mantra. The lack of information or anything remotely transparent as Bill's multi-transparent dream coat is... you get my point.
A FUCKING UTTER DISGRACE AND A COMPLETE INSULT TO ANYONE WITH AN INTELIGENCE TO FEEL ONE.

Out of the no voters who do go, how many bad patches ( or worse, bad seasons )can we afford before they drift ?
By doing what these guys percieve to be the unthinkable, the club stretches their loyalties to breaking point anyway. Loyalty is a two way thing, how many seasons did the club stare down the barrel but were able to call on the 12th man ?
if we stay in the city these guys will die Evertonians
A vote for Kirkby is a betrayal of all the Evertonians who are telling you loud and clear,THEY DONT WANT TO GO ! ! !
I promised myself I would make my decision by today (18/8/07).
Sometime in the future I may well look back and feel like the guy who turned down the job offer of a lifetime, because his family were happy and begged him not to move.I’ll live with that, coz whatever else happens the family will still be whole, I have woken today feeling like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders
I think its because I have decided it has to be NO

If this is Gary’s idea of ’rushing out of Goodison’ I’d hate to see what going slowly looks like!
Gary you are quite inclined to vote no should you want to but it should be for the right reasons.
There has been funding propositions for Kirkby whether you agree with them or not is of course a different issue but please don’t claim that there has been as much funding info about the Loop as there has been for Kirkby as that is just wrong.
A very emotional piece but not very factual.

we are living in the 21 century. all you need is the space to fit a pitch on it which clearly the loop has and then the stands can be built around the road structure, how about tunnels running through ala monoco hotel, could look fucking awesome!!! the designs by bestway with the immense curved tower kick 10 bells of shit out of tescos crap, looks like leahy designed it himself!! the bestway stadium looks like one that any championship winning side and FANS will be proud to call home.....now cost is another matter and seeing that car salesmen "no plan B ’ wyness has golden handshaked ( joke I PRAY ) with tesco ..every fucking little helps leahy.... see u all in kirkby in 2010

He smacked a cracker against the post creating a sonic wave which caused masonry from the stand to fall on my left ear. Thanks to GAB I have just received GBP10,250 and a new ear’. So: don’t leave it ’til Kirkby - call us NOW on 0870 442 1878

And the fact that the Board have only offered Plan A so they can secure their meal ticket is precisely *why* we should be bleating about it.
It’s no use the minority seeing this charade for what it is if the majority are going to vote yes based on vague figures, dubious financial projections and the threat that GP is going to fall down in 5 years.
And Wyness bending over backwards to knock the Loop on the head by deliberately ignoring the placement of the stadium overe the roads in the Skempton renderings has my "it’s a stitch up" radar going ten to the dozen.

And this pre-occupation with there being no "Plan B" frankly does my head in. The Club is straining every muscle to persuade Evertonians to say Yes to Kirkby because this is their big meal ticket. This is the "Deal of the Century" as far as they are cocerned. Frankly, to expect anything else from them (including a pointless Plan B) is naieve in the extreme.
We do have a choice: it's Kirkby or it's not Kirkby. That is very clear; that's what it says on the ballot paper. Just choose: Yes or No. If you suspect the cost thing doesn't work, then I think that is enough of a basis to vote No, if you are so inclined.
But this is a "rush out of Goodison"...?!? Jaysus, it's TEN FUCKING YEARS since Evertonians voted overwhelemingly to leave. And then they voted again years later to leave (for Kings Dock).
Bill doesn't get involved in controversy... and he doesn't want to be the Chairman who leads the club out of Goodison... which can be the only reason why abrogated his responsibility as Cahirman and put such an important decision in the hands of the fans.
How this all then becomes a fucking utter disgrace and a complete insult to anyone with an intelligence to feel one... You really are on the other side of the planet, fella. If you don't wanna move to Kirkby, that's fine; your prerogative... but to make these ridiculous statements about your perceptions of the way the club has behaved that border on personal mistreatment, fueled with a blinding passion that makes every move the club makes to be a wrong move... Well I just despair, I really do. Pull yourself together for God's sake man!
