Ok now Johnson is injured and going to be withdrawn from the England squad according to Sky Sports News, Anichebe is supposed to be injured, which leaves us with McFadden up front. God help us.

Now AJ seems to have an injury thats going to keep him out for a while what is Moyes going to do he now needs two strikers with the reported 11 million available expect yakubu to go elsewere and expect nothing from everton the club that never delievers in the transfer market especially so close to the deadline. Or we could deliever Thomas Helstad the 30 year old norway international who moyes has been chasing for years laughable expect the remainder of the transfer window to be dissapointing.

We’ve got four keepers now though so nothing to worry about.

Moyes signs another goal keeper. That?s about the fifth keeper in the last three years. Moyes? got a thing for goal keepers. Do you think it?s sexual??!

I know this might sound a bit obvious, but we have another 1st team forward in Lukas Jutkiewicz that we could throw in!!!

There are also some of the acadamy lads that could be blooded, Keiron Agard scored in pre season, Scott Spencer is probably close too... they must be reasonably close to the 1st team

Yep It appears AJ is out for a while, which leaves us seriously lacking up front now. If the board dont get off their arses and get some bodies in, there will be a bloody mutiny in the stands!! What a joke our club is sometimes. Show me one other team in our league who operates such a shoddy enterprise.

Dont be too suprised when you see Johnson playing at the weekend.

"It appears AJ is out for a while,"

Not necesarily. He’s got fluid on his knee- doesn’t seem like a long-term thing, just not quite ready to play a game tomorrow is all.

"Show me one other team in our league who operates such a shoddy enterprise."

Well, Man Utd have 3 of their 4 strikers missing at the moment. Seriously, Moyes couldn’t have anticipated Anichebe and Johnson getting injured within a week of each other, so stop pretending that he could.

The level of criticism on here is beyond ridiculous.

Last night I spilled a pint and got fluid on my knees as well.

Funny that the England camp is full of injured players, eh? It’s kinda like a hospital specializing in weird and obscure injuries.

And for those asking "are there any other teams that are ran so badly they can’t cope with the loss of three players from the same pos", my answer is: yes, Arsenal (left-back), Chelsea (goalkeeper, centerhalf) from last year, Man United (striker) now. What a bunch of amateurs!

What is Moyes supposed to do about having 3 strikers go out with injury after just 1 week of the season. We started the year with 4 strikers, the same amount as United and Chelsea have 3 strikers, what a shambles of a club that is, why don’t they ever spend any money on players!!! Should we spend 6 or 8 or 10 million on a replacement every time a player goes out injured? Then what do we do when the injured player comes back in a week or two? We have been bitten with some terrible injuries to start the season, the "evil" Everton board have nothing to do with that.

Latest on Sky Sports News is that we are in discussions with boro about the fee. Looks likely we will get him as we are haggling over 1M.

Cahill, Vaughan, Anichebe and Johnson all GENUINELY injured. And Moyes gets criticised! Even though he bought Lukas already and is trying to buy Yakubu (and managed to get £4m for Beattie - God knows how). What do you guys want??

And Anthony, Everton never deliver in the transfer market close to the deadline? Nigel Martyn? (Although, okay, he was a goalkeeper.) Kilbane wasn’t a bad signing either.

In fairness, nobody really delivers close to the transfer deadline. It’s a time for panic buys, not for well-planned and cunning acquisitions.

Maybe instead of investing in players which should pay for Rob Styles to referee all of our games and in which case the actions of the players will have no effect on the result.

Why doesn’t Moyes put in a bid for Julio Baptista??

I’d rather we "gambled" 11 million - although I doubt he’d cost that much - on a player who’s done the job in Spain and for Brazil than the Yak.

If need be Baptista could also drop a bit deeper and play off AJ.

It seems sense now to loan one striker and buy yakubu. Buying one striker isn’t enough.
