Is AJ's 'injury' a cunning trick by Moyesy on the eve of an England game? Will Mark Hughes tell his defenders to kick lumps out of AJ? Would it be an idea to go back in for Nugent if, as seems likely, Redknapp is willing to trade? Is £12M too much for a player who will be missing in January? should we wait? How come it takes Vaughny 3/4 months to get over a shoulder injury (medics anyone?)? Why does big Vic go down in agony at least 5 times in each game? Should we all panic when he does? Is McFadden a striker? Can he be consistent? Will we ever win when Moyesy wears his suit? Is the world round?

Are you a psychologist because you’ve just profiled the suffering an evertonian goes through in a day?

Vaughny had to have surgery on his shoulder hence the long time out.

Apparently when a young athlete dislocates a shoulder there is a 95% it will reoccur unless you do surgey.. so he could have popped it back in and carried on, but it just would have happened again.

Moyes tells it as it is in my opinion and so no cunning trick. He likes his players to represent their country.

I don’t think Mark Hughes tells his players to kick anyone. I believe he insists they compete and with the nature of players he has that’s how many interpret his instructions.

Nugent was never good enough for Everton and if he wasn’t a fan of the club then this issue wouldn’t exist.

£12m isn’t too much if it’s for a player Moyes believes is right for the club and will improve the squad to that extent. In January we should hopefully have Vaughan back anyway.

3/4 months to get over a shoulder injury? The lad has had an operation on it. Having very badly sprained an ankle playing football mid May i’m close to being able to play now, 3 months later and that didn’t involve an op. OK so i’ve not had premier league standard private treatment but often that’s just the time it takes!

Big Vic gets the sort of treatment Dunc used to get. He’s a strong lad who often gets kicked or hauled to the ground.

McFadden is a striker. When fit we’ve only ever played him in midfield, rarely up front as we played with one striker. Mainly though lack of midfield options.

To be fair he’s a very good strike rate in English football while playing for two pants sides.

Yakubu - dont forget our medicals take 2 days for some reason (probably from days of danny Williamson & Bilic).

So 1 day to convince him that £45k is enough even though he’s on more than that now , 2 days for medical , 2 days to get work permit - he’ll be available for next game Sep 1 !!!!

Negative barstools, who’s happy?

I reckon he’ll be a cracking signing, if he gets the service which he should do from Arteta, Pienaar, Cahill, Manu, Ossie, Van Der....ahem...cracking signing.

Lets hear that Manny is registered and I’ll be in raptures i tells ye!!

Well I could offer my 2 pence worth on all of those but I’d be far too grumpy for this stage of the season but I can answer your last question categorically. The earth is most certainly not round. Of that we can be 100% sure. As for Yakubu being worth £12 million well I’ll get back to you on that in 2 years time!

Great news!! Now just to finish off the Manny details and a press conference tomorrow or Friday with three new signings (as predicted by someone on this site earlier this week!)

I would have thought that Everton would have already spoken to Yaks agent about what he wants so it should just be a formality however Everton dont fare well with formalities but I do hope he and Manny are available for Blackburn.

If...If this deal goes through I will be very happy. We are a step up from his other clubs certainly and although he aint got the best touch I reckon Moyes will get him fit and working hard (if not Moyes then the Goodison faithful will let him know). He’s only 24 too, hope he bangs em in for us! We are getting a very impressive looking first XI!

Just look at the goal threat we’ll have in the first 11: Arteta, Fernandes, Cahill, Johnson and Yakubu. That’s going to scare the daylights out of most teams!!
