That Kenwright interview on the OS

Lasts 4 mins 56 seconds. It fleetingly mentions the word Kirkby. Once. After 4 mins 37 seconds. Make of that what you will...

The electoral reform society’s findings will make good reading.
If we ever get the chance to seeit.

17,500 people have to vote no for it to be no vote.
How many votes do you reckon they will get back? I would say 25,000(around 70%)would be a good return.
Therefore only around 21% of votes that get returned have to vote yes for it to be a yes vote.
The vote has always been a formality.

As for turn out, it’ll be well over 95%. Do you really believe 10,000 will not vote because they can’t make their minds or or can’t be bothered? everyone will vote as its a simple issue close to people’s hearts

Greg Murphy that is the final straw , you have either raised the gullible bar to unprecidented heights or you are taking the p..s
BK and his board have never contented themselves by merely influencing procedings, they have done everything in their power to ensure the outcome

They could quite rightly therefore state that any unreturned ballot papers meant that the person did not have an opinion and therefore did not object to moving to Kirkby.
I have believed this for ages but have been reluctant to post it in case it made more people vote no.
To be honest lads we have all been had they will not lose no matter what.
Of course unless they get a true no vote we will never know if my suspicions are correct or not.
If anybody thinks this is shite why not ask the club direct and see if they deny it.

I think BK might try to mislead or misrepresent things to Everton fans but he would never properly cheat like that.
17 Posted 22/08/2007 at 23:45:17
All they have to say is 49.9% of people voted no.
It is up to them what they publish. Just be suspicious if they publish very little information
These things can be very easily manipulated.

However,if I was in a position to put forward a plan b for my stinking pastime it would be thus.
Any landlord owning a public house to be given a choice on whether he runs a smoking establishment or not.Staff to be appraised accordingly and none smokers warned in big writing at the door, "Ye who enter do so at your peril".
That Sir is democracy.I think I went a bit over the top last night,
I dont really hate the Yes voters,I just dont think Kirkby is the right option and I dont think the club have done enougth to explore other avenues prior to creating a ballot on moving. Hey Ho
