Setanta restriction
Comments (3)
I'm writing this whilst visiting friends in Holland for a few days. I didn't mind being away when we play Blackburn on Saturday as I've recently subscribed to Setanta broadband (picture not great full screen but a lot better than nothing!). I've just tried to log on here and got a message from Setanta that the broadband service is restricted to the UK - why? I can't see how Setanta stands to lose any revenue if a UK based subscriber seeks to tune in while overseas (or why they wouldn't want subscribers world-wide for that matter). I'm not writing this to put anuone off the broadband service which is good as far as it goes but just because I'm puzzled and exasperated (and becuase i'm annoyed I'll miss the first sighting of Yaks in a blue shirt).

its totally free, has most premiership matches ready for streaming, all that is required is a couple of programs installed.

Sorry to read that you were unable to watch the Everton v Blackburn match on Setanta Broadband.
The reason for this is that we do not have the rights in Holland to show the matches on broadband.
Hope that answers your query and good luck for the rest of the season.
Thanks,
Ben
