Can I be one of the first to offer my sincere condolences to the friends and family of young Blue Rhys Jones. I am currently working offshore in Norway and have just read the article on BBC News website, with the photo of the young lad proudly wearing his the Royal Blue shirt.

Can I offer my condolences to the friends and family of little Rhys Jones, who was tragically killed yesterday. I am sure you are ALL with me, in sending your best wishes to all his loved ones.

Lee, Agreed. It is a tragedy, and something we Evertonians have become beleagured with over the past couple of years, from young soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan, Maddy, and now Rhys. I wish there was something tangible we could do but, as ever, there isn’t.

Senseless, completely senseless.

In this day and age I can’t understand tragedies like this.

Unbelievably tragic. I can not believe what is happening to the youth of England. All this senseless violence. And where have all these guns come from that these kids are getting there hands on??? I just feel terrible for his family, this type of thing should just not happen!!!!
