Right, whether you think this subject is boring or not, look at the bigger picture of what has been going on from the bullyboys at Goodison. Tom's plans were not set in stone; it was a preview with an awful lot of detail and drawings. This took a hell of a lot of time and effort and sacrifice.

Tom set out on a quest to show Goodison can be re-developed, in sections, with a will when it was categorically said it can't be done. Even that professor fella said the other night our gates would go down to 24,000 if we decided to rebuild Goodison. What a two-faced man he is. EGM anyone?

A hell of a lot of clubs have done the same re-builds but not us ? we neglected our stadium for years. No investment put in you see just sell sell sell and raise the debt without anything tangible shown for it. I ask anyone pouring scorn on this how much detail have we seen of the Photoshopped picture on the retail park in Kirkby and how long did they have to get in right? Was it over 18 months?

Who are KSS? Would they have a vested interest to pour cold water on Tom's plans, played the damning game for Everton. Oh, and by the way ,architects I have spoken too said what KSS did was deplorable and unethical in the industry.

The Tunnel site, same tactics by a transport official egged on by Everton no doubt to rubbish another option at its embryonic stage. HOK, you know that world-reknowned stadium designer, blew that myth of "it can't be done / it?s too small" out of the water in an 18-page document... Where is our 18 page document on Kirkby after how long again? Where?s our business plan after 18 months? When will many of our fans wake up and smell the coffee?

What our club did during the voting period was an insult to many people's intelligence and employed bully-boy tactics driving statement after statement down bewildered fans throats in the street who are left with the Echo and Post's literature on the subject. It was "move or we die". I really do despair at times with some of our fans. The vote was a sham; no other voting procedure would be allowed on such an important issue. The ballot papers came with ONE side of the story so how do you decide which is best long term? You look in the local papers and what did you find? Stories like the above. We will get what the fans vote for but it was always stacked against a fair vote based on literature shown.

Can anyone really argue on this? Remember not many of our fans are internet wise to see the other side of the coin. We were battling big business with vested interest all round. I do respect other fans' opinions but on the internet many fans push it too far with acid remarks after someone has put effort in to show another opinion in detail.

Tom has the right to reply to the sham written regarding his informed piece. He has family and friends who read the Echo and saw what was written. It?s easy to pour scorn on other people's efforts with a simple message on a message board or in a local paper. Think about what the People's Club did to this fan, they never asked him in to discuss his plans just set him up to be put in the stocks and laughed at by the ill-informed or simple-minded.

Tom, you did a sterling job lad, proud of your works and sacrifices whilst the employed at the club sat throwing darts at you. For shame on them and their ilk. It was not the Everton Way I was led to believe.

I?ll be in a ditch fighting for Everton with you Tom, anytime lad. Chin up. Divide and conquer, should be the club's motto now. They will reap what they sow. Short-term gain, long-term pain. We will not grow in Kirkby!

Ian Macdonald ? just another ordinary fan.

Having watched Bill Kenwrights interview on the EFC website I am now of the conclusion that this vote along with everything else BK does has been a sham. The vote is no more than an escape clause for Bill when it all goes tits up and it will.We are going to Kirkby no vote winning or not and its a fucking disgrace. What a filthy coward Kenwright is and I hope he rots in the stinking cowshed with all you pathetic Kenwright minions who voted for it regardless of your vote meaning anything.I am disgusted with the club its chairman and all the other lame At least us No voters can have a clear conscience in years to come.

Ian I couldn?t have put it any better than you have. That is exactly how I feel about the whole situation. The club have based their arguments against the options on spin, plain and simple. They have obviously learnt a few lessons from Alastair Campbell. It really leaves a sour taste in the mouth. I can?t help but feel that the whole strategy adopted by the club in the recent past is all based on short term gain but long term loss. The local journalists on the echo and daily post should hang their heads in shame for the way they have gone along with this without raising any serious questions.

Give it up Ian it is becoming embarrassing. I do not recall Bully Boy tactics from Everton. I remember them making their case and leaving it to us in large part other than responding to the so called alternatives propounded by KEIOC and their allies. They were quite within their rights to do that. Also, don’t demean Evertonians by calling them bewildered. Whatever side of the debate we as individuals have been on, it has generally been very intelligent and if some of us have been angry or frustrated occasionally it has only been because we care about the future of our Club. I agree that Tom and others have done an incredible job in presenting the altrenatives although they never answered the question of affordability and that was theirs, and KEIOC’s downfall.

The literature shown is all about a possible project at Kirkby which, if Sky Sports are right Everton will be allowed to continue to negotiate upon. It does NOT mean we are going to Kirkby. It is ,however, costed which the alternatives were never able to claim.

At least now we have a backstop position. A possible and affordable new Stadium in Kirkby. And we can rest on that. If, in the meantime. a costed and achievable alternative can be made available, then perhaps some of us can be pursuaded to change our view. If not, we are going to Kirkby.

Ian - I know your heart is in the right place and I would never berate you for your impassioned views. However, Everton’s current Board gave the fans the vote - no other club in the land would have done this and certainly no other chairman would have allowed this. A No vote would have been honored by the Club ? a fantastic (potentially catastrophic) gesture in the absence of a deliverable alternative
We have had our say - if it is a yes then you are in the minority and this is something you will have to accept. Talk of bewildered fans and suggesting that we cannot think for ourselves is perhaps a little patronising. Yes there was a lot of spin in support of the move but there was also a hell of a lot of information available to read not in favour of the move.

I for one don?t buy the Liverpool Echo - in actual fact in this day and age I would say that the majority of fan’s decisions were not based on what was in the local press - there have been many other avenues to explore to get a balanced opinion. The fact of the matter is that the LCC/Bestway proposal was too little too late and simply does not seem to be as beneficial to the Club as Kirkby (in the Boards view). We will move, we will attract bigger crowds, we will go one to create a new legacy in the new stadium and the debt we will incur will not be as much as the debt others will have to bear when moving grounds. I?ll be there (or anywhere), God willing. COYB.

Is right Joey lad thats me finished. Kenwright has handed the keys to the city over to Liverpool fc and thier followers and they are loving it.The team I grew up watching as a kid is dead so yes rename the new club Kirkby United or something.Dont shame and soil the great name of Everton Football Club out on that retail park in Knowsley. The real Everton will go down in history .Your new version out in Kirkby will go down the pan

Joey, Call yerself an Evertonian? Takin’ yer ball home are yer?

If the vote had been NO (which it may well be as we only have SSN’s word at the moment)I would have been at the match on Saturday.Or are you only giving up your season ticket if we actually move? Talking about moral courage, I had the moral courage to vote for what I believed was right and if I was to be on the losing side then sod it I would still be an Evertonian. Obviously that is not good enough for you.

9   Posted 23/08/2007 at 19:45:24

Ian - you have completely nailed it.
In the cold light of day, Everton’s behaviour during this whole campaign will be seen for what it is - a one-sided manipulation and ’win’ at all costs - not what is best for the future of Everton. There isn’t an argument that stacks up to say that staying at an undeveloped Goodison is better for Everton than a move to Kirky and this is the only option that Wyness has presented to fans. What seems to have been effectively glossed over is that Kirkby shouldn’t have been the only option. The fact that Wyness has been so quick to rubbish the Loop and wheeled out so called experts to undermine it is further evidence of self-interested approach and not what is best for Everton. It is surely incumbent on Everton to fully explore this, but there is no chance of this happening now Wyness has come out and catagorically said it can’t happen (despite the plans being in their infancy). I doubt there would be many Evertonians outside the Tesco boardroom voting for Kirkby if this option was allowed to be explored.
I feel a strange sympathy for those Evertonians who voted ’Yes’ because it was either ’the only option and we’d end up like Marine if we didn’t go’ or ’voting yes will give us more sway with LCC who will have to get their finger out’. What they have voted yes for will soon become a frightening reality as Everton, with a mandate from the fans, push quickly forward with Kirkby, telling LCC it’s too late and they’ve missed their chance. By 2010 we’ll have moved from one of the fastest growing cities in Britain (our city) to a retail park with no soul, no history and no other reason to go there - and it will be our home for at least another 50 years. I can’t imagine them being filled with pride when they tell their grandkids about the time they were hoodwinked by a man called Keith into taking Everton from their city.
This is a sad, sad day for Everton, although I suspect it may take a number of years for many to realise.

Listen, can we put the vote thing to bed once and for all. Yes I, we all, got a vote, but for what? Move to Kirby or die was the boards proposal.

When the loop appeared they rolled out an expert to rubbish it. That was a shit tactic. HOK have stated that is is possible, and HOK DO REALLY KNOW what they are talking about as they build stadia as opposed to the expert.

Now do we really believe that the board has any intention of talking to alternatives such as LCC/Bestway?
Of course not, they have a fucking mandate. If an alternative appears, then when we (Yes and NO voters) ask them to consider it they will remind us that the supporters have given them a mandate to go to Kirby and that’s that.

We have been conned. And if I see one more ’get over it mail’ from an enlightened yes voter I will be very annoyed.

’Yes’ voters - you have given the board the mandate to move the newly created Evrton franchise to tesco stadium in Kirby. You did it, based on your assessment of the facts - the straightforward palatable facts fed into your mouth by a board that has allready decided to go.

Bollocks.

To fellow fans who have voted no, the result of this vote is imminent, and although it my not go our way, that does not mean we will not still be heard. This move still has to go through the most critical process (Bill Kenwrights words) after the ballot has been announced. There is a lot more fight against this in me and i hope you are all the same. We want the best for Everton FC - Kirkby is not. Even our motto says nsNO.
I dont hate the "yes" men in this debate, I just wish they would dig their heads out of the big turd that yness has dumped all over them. LOOK at the bigger picture FFS. Did you "No" voters ever stop to think that the way you speak to others might have had a negative effect on your positions. When I read Lyndon’s posts they were very well put, without the shameful attacks, and I agreed with much of what he said. He expressed his views eloquently and with respect, but many of you have used such vile vitriol that any good points you may have are completely lost. If you choose to stop supporting Everton due to a 4 mile move, then so be it. Luckily it seems you are in the minority.

David,

I actually agree with your comment, but with the same token, have you heard the way in which Keith Wyness speaks to the fans?
I personally took exception to the way he has dictated this move proposal to life long Evertonians. It has not been balanced or air since day one. He may put his speeches across more maturely than some people, but this move is hurting some fans deep to the core, and comments left are only an impulsive response to something that is grossly wrong.

David, you’re wasting your breath on them, mate. There’s only one view that matters to them, and it’s theirs. And no, I don’t think they’ve ever stopped to think that maybe they’re actually putting people off agreeing with them. Of course, though, they’re "proper" Everton supporters, whereas we’re not - what they think of us is unprintable and libellous. Of course, we could always click the "Report abuse" link, then maybe TW will shut them down....

or we could just get on with supporting our team, and leave them to their twisted bile and hatred.

I have one disagreement with what is being said. Things such as Everton Board not presenting a balanced view, giving reasons not to move. I disagree that people are calling this a disgrace.

For christ sake, the club wants to move, the board wants to move and believe it is the only option. That is their opinion. So why should they give the other side of the arguement.

KEIOC, LCC and co had the job of giving the opposite opinion. I didn’t see KEIOC giving 2 sides of the arguement by saying why we should move to kirkby. Also, it is not as if KEIOC has been censored and their info has been unavailable for the average fan.

Remember it is a vote, you wouldn’t expect labour in the next general election to give reasons to vote for the tories, same principle.

By the way, I am anti-Kirkby. I don’t want Everton to be associated with Tesco. Whether it is within the boundaries or not I dont care less about, to me Kirkby is Liverpool. But I don’t want Tesco and Everton being associated. However, to complain about evertons propaganda being one-sided seems ridiculous. THAT IS THE POINT OF PROPAGANDA.

Danny, I would agree with you about some of the comments by Wyness. I would still like them to look at other options with this vote being concluded. This vote was to continue discussions about the move to Kirkby, the fans should hold the club to that and say it was not a vote to definitely move to Kirkby without discussing more options. Perhaps LCC will put together a deal that is too good to turn down. But I do not agree with others who say this is the death of Everton and they will no longer support the club.

Very good points. Why would an environmental group put out arguments that state global warming is a hoax, or that their science is wrong? Everton believed this to be the best option for the club, why would they go out of their way to prove themselves wrong? They gave information supporting their position, other groups countered that with theirs, and the fans voted on it.

If we use Greenpeace as an example for your environmental group, they are arguing to stop global warming amongst other things, the Everton board are all set for Kirkby. Greenpeace have said and BACK UP with evidence that Car emissions and aeroplanes contribute to global warming so can we cut it down please and thankyou. Everton board say about kirkby, we must move, there is no plan b, the clubs current ground will fall down in 5-10 years, we have explored all other options, honestly-trust us. Where is the catagoric evidnce that the ground will fall down, or that the loop is impossible, or on a positive note why Kirkby town is better than Liverpool city centre.

I am just trying to portray from my perspective, and I know some of it is laughable and flippant, but if we were informed in more tangible detail, there would be much more unity amongst fans.

The vote is a way for our chairman to keep face with his Evertonian background, he wants to move as much as we do......provide the option in Liverpool that closely rembles Kirkby and we will stay!!!!
If people feel as strongly about this situation that they do not want to ’support’ the team, so be it!
Dave...’Force fed self indulgent twaddle’......re-read your previous posts and those of Tony Marsh and Joey, the type of post they prefer excludes all Evertonians who don’t go to every game, don’t agree that everything isn’t ’Nil satis Nisi Optimum’ but ground themselves in reality and considered opinion.

So, Tony, your mate’s not going because he "can’t be arsed" anymore? And we try to kid ourselves that we’re the best fans in the world?? Priceless.

PS I’ve lost count of the number of times my dad’s said the same thing, usually after another dismal performance (funnily enough, he hasn’t said it that often in the last 5 years, I wonder why??), and guess what? HE STILL GOES! He’s already voted against moving to Kirkby, but if and when we move, HE WILL STILL GO! And if we’re going to play the "real supporter" game, he’s been going to the match for 50 years (why does this mean his view’s more important?!?).

He is what I’d call a SUPPORTER. If you, your mates, or anyone else who won’t go to Kirkby if and when we move, you’re obviously not true supporters. And before you get on your high horse about questionning your Everton credentials, it’s only my opinion! (Unless I’m not allowed to have one that’s contrary to yours...)

We are all Evertonians and we should all stick together.A young boy was killed yesterday a true blue and we are arguing amongst ourselves. I have deep concerns about moving from the city boundary and leaving LFC to own the city of Liverpool. I come from a mixed family of both reds and blues with one son who is 7 (red) and one son who is blue (2). I am shitting myself that the two year old decides that he too wants to become a red. Will he pick to go with his dad or me a season ticket holder for 21 years. Being a blue you are chosen but all my little boy will see in the city is LFC. I’m worried about the future of our young evertonians.

Tony, I bet you will carry on going to the games, just so you can moan about everything and anything.

If the vote is yes, just get on with it and not just give up.

What are the 12 gonna do on match days? Sit at home and watch old DVD’s.
No, they will be at the games or watching sky sports. Why? cause its in their blood too.

To be fair about the passion felt on both sides of the argument to label no voters such as Tony and his friends who have decided to not renew what sound like quite substantial season tickets for the club will have an impact and before you choose to say good riddance or worse then why? They have collectively decided to stop spending their money with the current incumbents and the most important part of that sentence is their money, they decide how to spend it not you or anyone else, if they feel so let down that doesn’t make them any less of a person they are standing by their heartfelt convictions of betrayal etc. I said a few weeks ago that I worried this would create a bigger chasm amongst the fans than anything else BK and his cronies have ever done and I have sadly been proven right. I have openly stated my no vote plenty of times and the move would cause me significant problems from what little I have been able to grasp so far will be a drive to Aintree to pay to park my car then pay to catch a bus with two disabled passengers to a stadium I am strongly against to wait and pay for a bus to return again to my car with my passengers so I too am considering whether or not this will prove the final straw, my two disabled family members may find the extra inconvenience of the trip too much it doesn’t make me any less a supporter and David Barks it’s not having a go but a fan watches with no cash outlay a supporter spends his hard earned.

I feel that Everton will go to Kirkby but with a reduced fan base and from which they will never recover. I expect they will sell the ground out, because at Goodison we would easily sell out every week if it was not for the restricted views.

It really does look like civil war is brewing. And whilst I will not apologise for fighting for what I beleive in, I will not persecute those for fighting for what they believe in. I do feel that the Chairman has some serious questions to ask of himself if he rubber stamps the move with anything less than a sizeable majority. Why? not because the No vote counts for more, but because the fall out will be damaging both on and off the pitch.

Danny Mullally has again brought up the most pertinent point about the campaign that Wyness has waged. The point that keeps getting missed when justifying Everton/Wyness position that they were putting forward the best solution for Everton, is that Kirkby may not be the best solution for Everton. The point blank refusal to look at options such as the Loop is highly irresponsible and the use of the exclusivity period as a screen to prevent other option presenting themselves has been a carefully manipulated vehicle used by Wyness to present Kirkby as the only ’deliverable’ (how many times have we heard that word used) option. The fans haven’t been presented with the facts to make a decision, yet there are too many who are happy to take Wyness’s word that Kirkby is the only/best solution.
I fully understand the anger of many ’no’ voters who feel that this has been a one-sided and ill-informed vote. Yes, Wyness has the right to put forward his views and to justify his opinion that kirkby is the right option, but surely it is wrong that he should actively seek to undermine and rubbish alternatives such as the Loop when he isn’t in possesion of the facts. That is just irresponsible and can’t be in the best interests of Everton.
There is a real feel that the fans have been duped and mislead during the vote, and I feel extremely let down and saddened that the club have stooped to such lows over such an important matter.

a new stadium move, a new training complex , a great youth set up ,the best manager and squad for generations , a euro cup competition and over £30 million pounds worth of new talent in the squad.tonight is a night to take stock of how far we have come.its a time not to be angry or scared , its a time to celebrate and unite.

come on people , the history is grand , the present is glorious and the future is exciting and not as scary as it was before moyes kenwright and wyness arrived.

i know people are hurt becouse we are leaving goodison ,and also hurt we are a few miles outside the city boundry . (im hurt that we havnt got better finances to have more of a choice.)
but im sure if every evertonian unites we can have a great time at kirkby and everton fc will repay the loss 10 fold im sure.

once a blue always a blue and when ever 11 men play with our clubs crest on there chest i will still be cheering them on.

i will tell my kids and they will tell there kids about the good and the bad times, the heartaches , the triumphs , the worldbeaters , the losers , about dixie dean , about goodison park, about the first game at kirkby etc etc. i have no choice i was born a blue and always will be.
my heart is with the club and fans and what we stand for . my home is where my heart is and that is wherever the toffemen are playing.wether it be liverpool , kirkby ,the moon or mars.

Gavin good points and I would hope wherever we end up consideration is given to disabled supporters. This is done at other clubs wer parking is reserved nearer the stadium in such cases. Obviously with Goodison being surrounded there was little chance of this however at a new stadium the same excuse cannot be made.

I will however disgree with your last point as if and I mean if this is a Yes vote then those who voted were supporters and not fans (your words) as they did part with their hard earned cash.

Gavin,
you say it’s not having a go but it clearly was. I make it over for a few matches a year, and 1 or 2 away games. I spend my savings on a $1000 plane trip, then hotel stay, then spend the price to attend the 2 or 3 home matches, making it to 4 or 5 some years since I ofter make it our over the December/January fixture crunch, and the 1 or 2 away games I get to. I don’t get to attend as many games as I wish I could these days, but don’t you dare class me as not being a supporter because I am in an unfortunate position of not being able to be a season ticket holder.

January 27th 2001. 3-0 down to Tranmere and the Upper Gwladys is bickering amongst itself between those trying desperately to show support for a dead duck and those ready to rip the team to shreds. We were losers then, and regardless of the result tomorrow i have the same feeling.

First to Tony and Ian know how you feel it just gets to me that people cant see through Kenwright any how this is my 50th season and as I am weak I will go to Kirkby but I will not bother with a season ticket s there will be plenty of seats available on the day and I will spend the minimum inside the cowshed no drinks ect as if as the yes voters say we will be at least £10 million better off they wont need mine I will save because I always pay for my ticket on credit card next season it was going to be two as my grandson is at the age to start but I will have to think about that now

grow some fucking balls and get behind the club you say you support. yes we are moving to Kirby. deal with it. its a horrible feeling that we are leaving goodison but this club is on the up. and if you dont realise that and decide to stop ’supporting’ Everton, then im sure quite a few of us wont be missing you at all. otherwise i shall see you in Kirby in 2010!

David Barks and Tony Miller I’m sorry you both misinterpreted my point it wasn’t calling David or any other supporter less it was simply meant to point out the incorrect word usage David often makes saying fans like Tony etc when I meant a fan merely has an interest in the club but doesn’t cough up and watch where Tony Marsh quite obviously does both home and away, sorry guys.

Fair enough Gavin, but as I pointed out I do go to as many games as I possibly can. But fan is short for "fanatic", not just someone who merely has an interest in the club. I cough up my money, pay for my Evertonia membership which gave me a vote, but from now on I will only use the word supporter, as that is what I meant.

Childish response my season ticket gave me a vote and this website gives me an opportunity to debate with like minded and unlike minded Evertonians what makes your viewpoint any more worthwhile than mine? I have quite real reasons which make the Kirkby move a very difficult one, can you honestly say your opinion or choice is any more valid than anyone else that posts here? Come on Colin we are ALL waiting to hear something more than a dummy spitting one liner.

See you Kirkby.

See you away at Portsmouth and Newcastle. See you in Columbus, Dallas, ’El Madrigal’ and Bucarest.

Right or wrong, cowshed or shapeship, Everton, Walton, Kirkby or Speake, I’ll be at the match because I’m an Evertonian and its my blood, its what I was born.

So, whatever the vote is tomorrow, if you’re pissed off enough to throw the towel in then do what you please, but I’ll be at the match, watching Everton - my Everton. The club my parents support, the club I support and the club my unborn kids will support.

I’m an Evertonian, born not manufactured. And neither an unstructed view nor 4 miles drive will ever change that.

"Being a blue you are chosen but all my little boy will see in the city is LFC. I?m worried about the future of our young evertonians"

A simply put point Jacqui that I have echoed myself on many many occasions. However, the custodians of this club cannot see this or recognise the true and valuable nature of it’s support base or what could happen to it over the long term. Utter blind madness to distance the club from the city of Liverpool as it’s economic renaissance gathers full pace. The undecided Liverpool youngsters of the future will not feel comfortable affiliating themselves to something that doesn’t feel ’Liverpool’ in it’s very nature, regardless of being 4 miles further out (that’s fact I’m afraid and the ’one club in Liverpool’ jibe will stick). As a kid, my granddad taking me from Old Swan down to Queens Drive to see a victorious team homecoming was the start of a love affair. I have always identified Everton as being at the heartbeat of the great city of Liverpool. Signing Ronaldinho tomorrow would not compensate if the answer to Kirkby is yes and my great club is uprooted into the hinterland of East Lancs. Everton Football Club deserves better than to be whored off in such a manner for the sake of people who simply won’t be around to care in ten years time

Colin Malone,

’I will be there on Saturday and the match has no meaning to (sic) me’.

Fucking sad bastard. Why don’t you stay away then? The team does not need anybody in the stadium who their efforts mean nothing to. If your limits to being an Evertonian are whether or not you get your own way then you have no right to call yourself a blue. Or maybe you don’t anymore!

If you want to make your little protest make it against the people you deem responsible and NOT the team. Stand outside with a banner if you wish but come inside with it and I might just ram it up your fucking jacksy.

Whos more the Fool. The Fool or the person who follows him. The Yes voters have started the demise of Everton FC. Well done! I read on here before these are the same Yes voters who in Twenty years will lie and say they voted No just to save face. Probably the same people who will swear blind and say "Oh yeah I was there when Dixie scored his 60th goal. What a bunch of wankers..

Bill Kenright states ... "let’s do it the Everton way, without fuss, without drama and in a dignified and appropriate manner ..." so we all end up bitching and bickering at each other, hurling written abuse (Tony Marsh), well perhaps the sad demise of the young lad in Licerpool can calm everyone down and bring some reality back to the situation. What was it that Jimmy Greaves used to say ... ? Oh yes, ..."it’s only a game ..."

Well done lads, that’s just outstanding, a few disgruntled words on a website and now supporters (of the same team I might add) are squaring up to each other with threats of physical violence .... that’s just fab. May I suggest that the violently inclined take a trip down to the morgue in Liverpool and view the lifeless body of the poor lad from Liverpool who was shot dead, and then look at the sorrow and anguish in the eyes of his parents and tell me that all this petty squabbling is justified. Whilst I appreciate like many Evertonians that this is an emotive subject, compared to the loss of this young life it pales in to insignificance on a grand scale. Whatever the outcome of the vote, nobody will be killed or physically injured by the decision, so please, let’s now put an end to the bitching and squabbling, if only for the sake of that young lad.

What a sad day this is for all of us, irrespective of the result, this ballot has been totally divisive.
Slyness has manipulated this situation for his own ends, the ballot was only given to us because Blue Bill does not want to go down in history as the man that took Everton out of the city.
Well he has achieved his aim, if we go, he will be able to look in the mirror and say it was,nt just down to me. Fuckin great, thanks Bill, a democrat you are mate.
An extra £10 mil to spend on players, its laughable and truly Everton.
