Reflection

As a lifelong Everton fan from the Emerald Isle across the water, I appeal for calm amongst our supporters.
As an outside fan, relocation is not a problem for me but reading such articles as above and by Colin Fitz, I find this to be such an emotive issue in the city that a period of calm and reflection over the result is badly required. In Ireland, we had the Roy Keane saga when he walked out on his country before the world cup and it caused rows and mayhem and even at times punch ups between supporters. To this day, the subject is unmentionable in a pub. I can only hope the same situation does not befall my beloved Everton and appeal to the Board to examine ALL posibilites before any concrete decision is made.
Never was a greater phrase compiled and Mr.Wyness please note "Nil Satis Nisi Optimum" Everton Forever........

Alas, my opinion means absolutely nothing to the narrow-minded minority of our fanbase. Unlike them, though, I don’t try to force my view on others, so I couldn’t really care less what they think.

We need to let the dust settle. This does not mean we are definitely moving to Kirkby (BK is well capable of fucking this up) but if we do Evertonians, particularly those from the city of Liverpool MUST not start to battle each other.
It is vital that Evertonian from Liverpool do not take this bad enough to stop going to games or they will merely be making their own fears come true.

Anyway, this will be my last comment on Toffeeweb for the foreseeable future.. Anyone reading this thread now knows I’m an Irishman living in Salford who voted Yes, and to be honest I’m not prepared to listen to nasty personal insults from a dim-witted minority who know nothing about me and my life as an Evertonian...
NSNO.. Good luck tomorrow, boys! I’ll still be in the stands cheering you as always, just like I will be in Kirkby or wherever we end up.

As to your point, I agree whole heartedly... But being a Corkman... I’d side with Keano ;)
