One City - One Club

Well, it's already started; there is only one team in Liverpool. Here's the headline and extract from the Guardian: Everton fans vote to leave Liverpool - 'Soon there will be only one team in Liverpool: Everton fans have voted to back their club's proposal to move from Goodison Park to a new 55,000-seater stadium in Kirkby... ceding the city to Liverpool Football Club.
I really wish I understood how moving from a fast-developing and world-renowned city to a borough that nobody has heard of is going to raise our profile and improve our fan base. This is a short-term fix and not the best solution for Everton. I truly hope I'm wrong, but I'm worried that I'm right. I just hope it's not too late for Everton to look at other alternatives in the city.
