God is an Evertonian

Comments (4)

I just read Moyes's comments after the game and it is wonderfully reassuring to know that we could count on a divine intervention when we need one.

It seems that both Stubbs and Carsley were taken off because they had both picked up groin strains in the first half ? and not because they personified the utter haplessness and helplessness of yesterday's Everton against a competent Blackburn side. If only God had sent some minor knock to Hibbert, which would have prevented him from playing for Everton in the next, say, 10 years. Or even better, wouldn't be nice if Hibbert inhertited a fortune in Australia and quit football for good?

It seems Moyes would have played Carsley and Stubbs intil the end of time and would have us explore new depths of uselessness had they not been injured ? a rather depressing thought with not too pleasant connotations for Mr. Moyes.

I hope that the second half last night at least convinced him that there is life without Stubbs and Carsley after all. And a much better one at that.

God can’t be an Evertonian - he’s let Fernandes sign for Valencia.

Louis - which Fernandes is this one? Is it the same one who has been training with Everton for the last couple of weeks?

Hope we can charge Valencia for our time.

Oh, and please tell the estate agent who is finding him an apartment, to stop looking.
