The Mail Bag

Manny

I've read some disturbing reports this morning that the Prem League have blocked Manny's move to Everton. Anyone heard anything? If so it clearly shows that the likes of Man Utd and Liverpoool get preferential treatment over the rest of us - or am I just being paranoid???

Also the appeal against The Yaks work permit has now been moved to Friday so he's unlikely to play at Bolton. Why doesn't any of our transfer go smoothly! Oh well, even more reason to drink more beer at the Mathew Street festival in a bit...

He was outside the ground mingling with fans yesterday, so if that’s true, it’s a very recent development

It’s been reported on Valencia’ official site. The Guardian unlimited are also reporting it. So there must be some truth behind it. What are the chances of the Yak deal collapsing? Even Moyes himself didn’t sound to confident. What do the board care?? They got their stadium move. This was just another smokescreen to get people to vote in their favour. I smell a big pay day for Bk and Cronies.

Not only the Premier league blocked the transfer of Manuel Fernandes, but if you go to www.valenciacf.es you will find that Manny is already a Valencia player as long as he passes the medical examinations. Quite honestly...I don’t know what to say...Whether i cry or laugh at this situation. Ah and the papers in Portugal also report this.
We lost it

I can’t understand it,if the prem league have blocked the move.Didn’t they come out the other week, and say they were working with us,and didn’t see any problems?I think it has been down to Valencia making a late bid,and Manny fucking us off. He’s probalby watched the Wign,Reading and B’burn games, and thought to himself "what the fuck am I doing here"Spain, here I come!!
