Percentage Football, Part 2

Or, Who wants to be a millionaire?. Should it be, as Mike Jameson nearly says, Bank Holiday-gate... even Lancaster Gate. Can you be paranoid enough when This Board is involved? they don't 'SEEM' that clever, all we are left with is 'Bill-Gate'... When who we need is Bill Gates.

Show me the money is still a good call. Pre- and post-vote, we've had, out of the blue( pun intended), £20 mill, albeit of the jam to-morrow variety, thrown about like a armless miser. If the clock runs out on Yakubu and we've been Sisso-KO-ed on Manny, then all the Yes voters may yet end up, 3 yrs down the track, having a pre-match bevvie in that new pub 'The Very Sour Grapes'. AND a 60 mill.euro / £40 mill buy-on clause... Who knows who's going to get what percentage of that?

Benfica don't seem to be a selling club, on the bones of their arse; they have though been trying to move the lad on for 18 mths. But £6 mill for your 50% or £10 mill for your 50%... not the hardest decision in the world. Meanwhile, the two tramps (who shall remain nameless) are still waiting for Godot ? who, by the by, never did turn up. 'Just wait until that Godot turns up, it'll be like signing a new player'.

Like I said, it's the Evertonians' rollercoaster. Yet we always seem surprised. Sigh...
