I have been informed that Kenwright is being paid £8k a week by EFC. Does anyone know if this is True?

If it were true, it would have to be mentioned in the EFC Annual Report as a legal requirement, under Renumeration of Directors. The only one who is paid is the CEO Keith Wyness. To my knowledge, neither Bill Kenwright nor any of the other directors receive any renumeration. But don't let stop a good rumour!

I heard Bill Kenwright just takes a couple of academy graduates a year as salary. He takes them to his home and uses them as slaves before feeding them to his dog to save money on Pedigree Chum. Do you have any evidence this is not the case? Then it must be true.

No, he doesn’t take a pay cheque. He has stated many times that he still buys his own season ticket for his spot in the director’s box aswell as using 85% of his personal wealth to save Everton from Agent Johnson.
He has plenty of faults and weaknesses, butlet’s just snipe and criticise at the things that are true.

BK is the only chairman in the prem that doesnt take a salary out of his club , as Dave just said he’s got plenty of faults but this aint one of them !!

You’ve been had there, Steve!
Apparently though Wyness gets the Head Groundsman at Finch Farm to go round and mow his lawn a couple of times a week and I have heard that Darren Griffiths gets a massage from the physio every Tuesday afternoon....

I heard Bill got a player to agree to come over here from Portugal and pretend to sign, just so he could get 60% of his club’s fans to vote for a stadium that none of them want, but they were confused by the player arriving so they voted yes. Once that happened the player buggered off somewhere else, as agreed with nefarious chairman. It sounds a bit far-fetched to me (and slightly underestimating the brain power of the average Evertonian), but why let that stop a good rumour?

I did not think this to be true either but I was assured by someone who knows someone etc, anyway for all his faults I have won a 10 quid bet that he didn’t take a penny.

In that case ,Mr Sweeney, do you not think it would have been better to keep such a scullerous rumour to yourself. The depth to which some Evertonians will sink in order to criticise our excellent Chairman seem to have no limit!

Richard- I wish I could look watch and beleive the propaganda that comes out of the club through those rose tinted believe all that BK says and does glasses.
Unfortunately this man has done as much dqamage to this club as did agent Johnson, and don’t forget he was also party to all the shady dealings that went on under that regime. While he is in charge we will continue to be fed lies, lies and more lies.
So not really scurrilous but more tongue in cheek!
