See the Big Four at Goodison

I am all for creative marketing ideas and the creation of business links with other companies for the good of Everton FC, but the clubs current marketing department are turning our proud club into a joke.
I was leafing through the Echo last night and my eye was caught by an advert that I initial thought was for Setanta Sports. You know the one, watch X amount of matches involving the Big Four, this season on Setanta Sports. I must admit, I was a little slow in realising the true horror of what I was about to read, but as I looked across the action shots of Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United, I noticed there was an Everton player in each of the pictures. This made me study the advert more intently until I realised that it was in fact Everton FC advertising these games.
Now as I have previously stated I have no objection to the club marketing themselves on our own strengths, but for fuck's sake, how has it come to this? The fact that we have to advertise on the strength of other teams is insulting, degrading and disrespectful. The advert also contained and a list of dates and fixtures when Everton play the Big Four clubs and guess what, those creative people in marketing have decided it to be fitting that the names of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool, be highlighted in bold type.
This is an absolute joke, we are basically saying to all the Mancs and Kopites in the area to come and fill our ground when we play them.
Secondly that stupid fucking deal to buy a mobile phone and get a season ticket. This is unbelievable embarrassing, we are not Wigan or Blackburn ? We are Everton FC and we are being made out to be a complete joke by our own marketing department.
