Why would Fernandes be back in Liverpool?

I have just seen him in town in Diesel with a Portugese speaking friend. Has he signed for Valencia? or is their another twist in the saga? May be a simple answer to this... or may be a scoop!

No he’s gone John - no point getting your hopes up!!
Why have we not heard the outcome of Yakubu’s appeal yet?? The hearing was supposed to be this morning. Hope there is not a problem!!!
Does anyone know anything??

Why didn’t you smack him? Sorry, I mean, why didn’t you tell him he’s a very naughty man?
He can’t be that daft (or arrogant)to return to the scene of the ’crime’?

Manny was probably back in Liverpool to say sorry to Uncle Bill, and maybe to collect his P45; fuck knows.
He has however been photographed in a Valencia shirt, not to mention signed a contract with them - that for me, makes it something of a done deal!
The Yak thing is a bit fishy, I reckon they’re just making us wait - or possibly getting his shirt printed up & ready for the press conference.
Maybe we ran out of Y’s.

I love his quote about European football; Boro aren’t there at the moment and he cites this as a reason for living! Hahahaha

I would imagine they would have everything ready at Goodison Park (contracts etc.) waiting for confirmation from Sheffield.
I expected this one to run like clockwork after the last one being fucked up. But hey, maybe it is. Its the fucking waiting thats a killer - you just come to expect the worst as an Evertonian!!!
Just waiting for the news to come out that Man Utd have gazumped us!!

Finally,Yakubu on board.Something at last to be positive about. For me,he should go straight into the first 11 for the Bolton game. But we are talking about Davey Moyes,so he will probalby be on the bench.

ESPN site...just completed apparently. Went through as Villareal to Athletico Madrid, undisclosed fee. Would love Appiah...only 26 and much more experienced and complete player than Fernandes.

This is the second time today that I’ve heard this. A co-worker of mine claimed that Manny, with a male friend, was shopping in Liverpool city centre at lunch time. He also claimed that he tried to engege Manny in conversation, but was met with a couple of guarded comments about tying up loose ends regarding his Everton future. I thought I was being bullshitted, but maybe not.

If Manny was in Liverpool tying up loose ends then they will probably be cancelling the house he was gonna buy and sending his car back or something but hes gone lads!

He was spotted by various people today during a walk around the centre of Liverpool. The rumour seems to be true.

Paul Coleman

Actually, yeah think about it. Manny left in such a hurry on Saturday he probably does have a few loose ends to tie up back in Liverpool and hey why not do a bit of shopping. Bloody brave of him though because I know a few people who would do him harm.
