I know Tommy is not the perfect choice but I am glad he is back. He probably wouldn't have been here if it wasnt for the Fernandes saga but at the end of the day he is a good short-term option. He is better than Carsley and Neville and it will be good to see their partnership split up.
We are in desperate need for someone in Gravesen's mould. Obviously he can be erratic but on his day he is a matchwinner. I just wanted people who accused Tommy of not being able to pass to see this. I think Johnson's game will defo improve with Gravesen in the team.

I just love the fella. There’s lots of footage of him at You tube, if anyone can watch that and still not love him then I’m a Kopite!

I don´t honestly know why alot of Evertonians slag him off so much. I loved him when he was last with us- he was far and away our best player! now he´s back, and judging from that clip he looks to have a lot left in the tank!! who needs Riquelme!

I’m sick of all this you tube shite.FFS lads. You could make a video of the shittest player on the planet, and make him look un-believable.I like Gravesen and he is a good player, but he is not quality or class as some fans have mentioned.Like a lot of fans have already pointed out,he had a good 6 months out of a 4 year stint with us,not a good return for 4 years is it?I am glad he has signed, not because he is class or quality(which he isn’t)but because of his enthusiasm, and never say die attitude.Thats why I think a lot of fans took to him.

I’ve just watched this 2 mins of film, and in what I assume was his highlights, he missed a free kick misplaced 1 out of every 2 passes and was substituted. Plus from the score his team were losing. I fail to see how this makes him world class. I know I’m being a knob and picky but I’m sick of all these people making out he’s some sort of returning God. He’s not. It was his efforts and enthusium in a poor side that made him popular, not his contribution on the pitch. It’ll be interesting to see how he copes now he’s not the big fish here.

I never once said he was class I said he would be useful. That is highlights of one game and it showed he is a good passer of the ball. You dont see Arteta spraying balls like that. Gravesen’s playing style will help us. He is by far a better player than both Carsley and Neville. People will never be happy though will they. We missed out on Fernandes and didnt have enough time to go and look for a proper replacement so we went in for Gravesen and I think it is a good loan.

Connor,I wasn’t specifically suggesting that you said he was class. In one of the other threads, people were using words like class and quality.I agree with Chris,by some,it’s being hailed as if it is the signing of some sort of messiah. For me he is a honest, hard working pro(like Phil Neville, but Gravesen is a better passer, just)As I have said,I am very happy he is here.I,m just not getting too carried away with it all.

Sorry Connor cant agree my only hope is he plays for a contract like he was in his better days during his last stint sadly a lot of players suddenly improve during the tail end of a contract and I consider Tommy to be in this group
