Carling Cup: Sheff Wed

So we have drawn Sheffield Wednesday... Two former players: Steve Watson who was a solid pro for this club, and the waster Francis Jeffers.
To think what he may have had if the bright lights had not attracted him. I llways wondered if he would make it back up, but obviously not.

I love it when greedy tossers like Jeffers fall by the wayside, the loser.
Badge kissing prick same as the other knob up the M62.

I honestly dont see what Wenger at the time saw in Jeffers,he was hardly brilliant when he played for us and im not surprised Everton took the money when they did,before everyone found out that he was and is a load of shit!

To be honest I thought he was going to make it until he started to believe he was already a superstar but from what I am led to believe his family interfered as well

I am pleased with the draw. I think we could go far in it (well fingers crossed!).

Listening to the live audio Vs Bolton game on ETV. (We have a new hero lads...)
Half time, as they round up scores across the counrty, in reference to Wednesdays lack of league points;
"Sheffield Wednesday are still pointless..."
God help us if we don't beat pointless SW!

Speaking of Sheffield Wednesday, if ever there was a case to consider as to how far a club can fall then they are it. The other half of probably the best Cup Final I ever had the honour to watch (1966) and now they are bottom of the Championship after being (while I admit they didn’t actually win anything) a force in the higher echelons throughout my childhood. An away game at Hillsborough was always a difficult game. Once you lose your foothold!...phew!They always played decent footy too which makes it doubly sad. Couldn’t give a shit about Leeds though, I always hated them! But a similar story nonetheless.
