Starting Eleven

My god, our starting line up is awesome today! I am surprised to see Yak start though as you usually have to earn a start. Maybe he has been doing well in training?
Graveson, McFadden, Osman and Anichebe on the bench too! If our team play is as good as our line-up we will get quite a few in the back of the net today I reckon!

Pienaar, Jagielka, Yakubu in, Stubbs, Osman and Hibbert out. This team looks very good indeed and is more or less what our starting eleven should be bar say Jags for Carsley, Neville at RB and Cahill in. I personally wish to thank David Moyes for assembling a quality side and it appears from the evidence of today that he wants to go for it, so even more thanks for that. No more excuses, let's bloody go for it. Come on you blue boys!!!

Good start from Yak! :-)
Half time 1-0 so very good for the blues.
Can we hold it though?

What do you expect with Cars and Nev in the middle?? It clearly doesn?t work.

We haven?t scored more then 1 goal a game since the Spurs game. That?s why we haven?t won. Also what?s happening with the defence? No clean sheets in 5??

Gravensen pulls it out of the bag for us! I think he will be pushing for a place in the starting 11 next game. But who would he replace? Captain Nev or his look-alike twin?

Great result, entertaining game. Could of gone either way but great to see the confidence to go for the throat, which has been missing. Was it just me or did Arteta go missing in the second half. Baines and jags are looking like great signings, oh and that small striker called Yakubu! But having the pleasure of being able to watch all our games so far i dont believe Pienaar is offering us more than McFadden. Mcfadden has a better goal sense. or is it to late here in Australia

A good 3pts today, against a tough Bolton side.Just a few points. Is anybody worried about Arteta’s form the last 3 games?Listened to the game on Evertontv, and Barry Horne said Arteta was quiet again today. He was also saying AJ seems to be lacking in confidence in front of goal.I had noticed this as well, but thought nothing of it.It seems he is always in 2 minds what to do in front of goal. Also,I don’t think Osman gets enough credit. When he came on it seemed like we had a bit more attacking option to our game, apart from what seemed like to be a sitter, he missed.A big thank you goes to Yakubu, who won me my ale money for tonight, after I had £20 on first goalscorer.Overall happy with the win, even though for most parts it seemed like a scrappy game. But,against teams like Bolton we have to expect that.

AJ always chooses to pull the trigger at the wrong time. Once in the second half, he was one on one with the keeper, with a clear shooting opportunity and he didn’t even get a shot away.
I think he needs some serious coaching in how to finish. Despite his fantastic work-rate, it’s not good enough for a striker to spurn so many gilt-edged opportunities.
