UEFA Cup FInal

Just wondering whether anybody knew that this years UEFA cup final was at the City of Manchester Stadium. Might be getting ahead of myself but what a day that could be!

Sorry Carl I disagree strongly. I can go to Manchester twice a season to see Everton. I would much prefer a barmy night in somewhere like Barcelona in a fantastic stadium like the Nou Camp. With thousands of Evertonians flooding the city. The worst scenario would be having Blackburn or Bolton as our opponents in Manchester it would be like an FA Semi. But to be honest I would be happy to get to the a European final wherever it is held

Lets get to the group stages first shall we. Also, Bayern Munich are in the UEFA Cup this year, and they could be the best team in Europe, nevermind this competition. Anything can happen, but speaking of the final before the competition has even gotten underway is just a bit premature.

I agree with you all, but mainly Mike. A big night out overseas would be far better than Manchester! Although obviously lets get into the bleeding league stage first!

But seriously, I have dreamed of 40,000 Evertonians on Deansgate on a Wednesday afternoon.
