Goodison Atmosphere

Comments (3)

I like many people am disappointed when leaving Goodison and it hasn?t been rocking. There's nothing like the feeling of coming away from the game, ears ringing, and not being able to speak for a couple of days as my voice has gone... Love it!

We?ve now got two very important games coming up where I think we could make a huge difference. We all moan if a player hasn?t put in a shift, so let?s look at ourselves and make Goodison the most intimidating place in football... We've all seen in the past what diffrence it makes to the team when it's rocking (Pompy last year springs to mind).

Get onto your friends and family if they are saying, "I'll watch the Euro game on the box" ? this is what we?ve been waiting for... We are the twelfth man, let?s be a world class twelfth man...

I have to agree the atmosphere against wigan and blackburn were to our usual high standards fairly muted, a bloke from work whos a kopshite even commented when wathcing match of the day that it dident have its usual buzz, maybe the fans havent as high hopes for this season, the next week will give us an idea to whether they are right for now we must scream our heads off and get the ground shaking maybe it will collapse and we can build the 60000 seater we want in its place

I’m sure Manu & the Mentalists will feel the full whack of it, and that’ll help us get the results we need. The blackburn game was different, with the young lad being murdered it (rightly) overshadowed the game. A lot of people were still shellshocked & couldnt get themselves going. Lets make up for it saturday!!

Maybe the fans are not as united as they were. There has been a big divide created in the last few weeks and it will take a while for that to heal (if ever). Like it or not but this Kirkby stuff is ruining our support. Too much piss and wind and not enough common sense. The abuse that has been thrown by both sides is pathetic. If enough mud is thrown some of it inevitably sticks I?m afraid. Maybe at the games now you have people looking at each other and thinking was he yes or was he no. I think the Vote (although well intentioned) was the biggest mistake that this current Board has ever made. They maybe should of just made the decision themselves like any competant Board of any other company would make. Anyway I hope we can get that spark back and what better way to do that than uniting and beating Manure on Saturday. 1 nil will do, Andy Johnson to bbreak his drought. COYB!
