Let's cut the crap. Today was a total embarassment, one decent shot on goal in 90 mins is appalling.
Tactically we where inept and played right into their hands... Midfield; What midfield?
Utd bossed the game from start to finish, never looked in any trouble and cruised through the game.
Before you appologists come on with your lame excuses, watch the game again. Watch their movement and passing, the way they can turn defence into attack very quickly and effectively.
All we had to offer was the long ball into channels which they dealt with easily.
This is not good enough, he's had 5 fucking years to get a midfield sorted and we're still watching hoofball and players who can't pass a ball 10 yards to a team member. Shite!!!

Ouch! I was not particularly impressed with our play but, when you put it like that, it's hard to argue. Yet we know they will... the Usual Suspects!

Yes and the usual suspects will post this shite as well.

Your comments are shite. We had disallowed goal and clearance of the line and the shots on goal according to Skyspors are 2 for Everton and 3 for United.
We shut up United for the game, we matched them in every department was the goal goal result of briliant move, did they create any clear cut chances, did Ronaldo, Giggs, Nani, Tevez make us looke out of the pace, did they looked as J100m worth, how many saves made Wessels, what did United so much that we are slating our players and the manager.
They scored one goal from a set piece in the end nothing more. Yes this separates the champions from the decent side but at the moment we are decent side, which is developing into very good side, we will have to take such setbacks and learn from them. We had our chance from the set piece it was cleared of the line, we had disallowed goal which was very, very harshly ruled out. Noone is commenting on this its easier to slate the players and the manager.
One more thing all our players were shit name me then your player of the match, who was the big money player from United who stood shoulders over our push overs?

Yet another late capitulation. Still I suppose as Man Utd's feeder club we'd have been in serious trouble if we hadn't helped them to three points. I didn't get to see the game, but I do hope Neville didn't go up to Fergie again and call him "Gaffer" or some other suchlike.

Stefan who gives a toss who the man of the match was? An out of sorts Man Utd side have mugged us again at Goodison and it was so unavoidable.Moyes hasnt got a clue about football. The only time we win is when we get lucky and thats not good enough. Most top side in the league would of beaten the Mancs today and thats the real issue here.

Dutch, for once I can actually respect what you wrote in your mailbag piece. I think you called it right, and can?t argue with anything in there ? wish I could. Wish I could point to irrelevances like the disparity in squad value and "where Moyes has brought us to" and "raised expectations"... but this was all about playing football on the day... and we didn?t. End of.

Come on Tony Unite werent out of sorts for nothing we matched them. I know that you dont like Moyes and when we are not up to the scratch like against Rovers then fair enough have a go. But all are saying United were there for the taking, yes they looked ordinary but it was down to us make them look that ordinary.

The game was decided by a late set piece goal, there was nothing between the sides up to that point, it was a coint flip in the end. Moyes made positive changes, maybe he should have sent McFadden a bit earlier but I cant fault the boys today, I cant

Spot on Dave Lynch et al, today’s Davey Moyes’ negative Everton got exactly what thy deserved: FUCK ALL. Saturday night could have been so much more enjoyable, if only DM would have shown the endeavour that Rhys Jones and countless other toffees deserved.
Neville in midfield...what a fucking ridiculous lack of ambition that shows. It is so much better to go down fighting than to only aim for a point and get fuck all anyway. Another point (pardon the pun) I blame Moyes for: To give the heroic Faddy only five minutes is disgraceful! Shame on you Davy.

Time for some harsh and uncomfortable decisions, the manager’s job, what he gets paid for. Play Neville at right back else drop him/sell him. I don’t care if he’s a nice guy or he’s won the fucking nobel peace prize for that matter, as a footballer he is severely lacking and to give him a position in the engine room is just asking for trouble. His performance today was just as bad as an own goal. These harsh decisions must be made in respect of Osman and Hibbert too - they are simply liabilities. Although, I’m not a great fan of McFadden I can’t believe he only got 5 minutes today. I would have thought that at half time the opportunity was there for him. I’m glad to see that people like Dutch are finally waking up from their Moyes love-in whilst I consider the likes of Tony Miller who are content with burying their heads in the sand as falling into the minority. Moyes, the knives are sharpening

To be honest.. I think we were pretty ok today .. we matched Man U stride for stride, and manage to contain the threat of both Nani and Ronaldo... It?s only that lapse of concentration (as usual from Hibbert) did we lose the game.. a draw would have been a fair result.
I was also particulary impressed with the new keeper.. he didn?t seem too eager to impress.. played it simple, and really couldn?t do anything about the goal.
But I do think Neville?s distribution is totally crapped though. I hope when Graveson and Cahill is back, Moyes? will drop Hibbo, Nev at right back, Jag at holding mid, and cahill / graveson free role....... arteta on left, with pienaar / mcfaddy / osman on right.. midfield will be ok then ..
So I?m not really upset of the loss today .. I was against Reading though , and the draw against Blackburn as the boys looked really uncommitted in those games... not that they played well against Wigan too... but today, they look ok ... with Cahill and Graveson back, then I think we?ll be ok in midfield... (for now till Jan ..)
Lastly, I think everyone should respect everyone?s comments... let us speak, and not get flamed.. everyone?s entitled to his own comments and thoughts... it?s getting kinda turn off reading the flames thrown from all angles pertaining to the ground move already .. so let?s not start it here...

We blew it.we did,nt need to make those like for like changes. All that was needed was take off Neville, switched Arteta to the middle, who could have given throgh balls on the floor to the front two.
Can someone tell me why neville gets he,s game, committment yes, skill NO.

No, it’s not nice EJ to be at each other’s throats but i’m 4kin livid. Moyes goes on fluffing his lines it’s becoming uncomfortable to bear. For people not to see it is just as unfuriating as it is tacit acceptance that we continue with this fucking crap football and go on throwing points away. If things don’t change soon, It cannot be much longer before the fans start turning on the PE teacher

Shite ?? I thought we did okay today despite them having that fat bastard wiley on their side. Paul Scholes should have been sent off without doubt and Leon Osman’s strike should have counted. I cannot remember Wessels havin a shot of any note to save and whilst I agree that we didn’t really create anything a draw was a fair result. The thing that annoys me is why our players do not shoot more ! Arteta is brilliant but never shoots and for me, needs to start playin a bit more to get back to last seasons standards. Faddy should also have been brought on earlier and Yak should have stayed on as we had no threat once he left the field. Oh well Thursday night to look forward to !!! COYB.

Top comments as ever Dave, I sometimes wonder whether any of these lads who put up with mediocrity ever played the game.

OK, we weren?t the New Real Madrid and an element of hoofball came into the game, but on a positve note, I thought Wessels looked comfortable, confident and his distribution was better than Howard's. I KNOW he hoofed the ball up front on occasions but, that aside, he looked ok. A change to have a sub keeper instead of Tricky Dickie, the Phantom Ball Juggler.
Hibbert had a better game than usual, he was only crap instead of fucking crap, Yak looked half decent when we played the ball to feet, with his back to goal, something that hoofball won?t do. What I don?t see on here are any comments regarding Arteta's dip in form. I wouldn?t go so far as to say that he doesn?t look interested but he?s not playing with the same flair that he has of late. Why would that be, do you think? Is he regretting his decision to sign a five-year deal? I?m not having a pop at him, he?s probably our best player, I?m just making an observation.
I?m as pissed off as the next person on here at yet another defeat to the Mancs but to say there was no fight or effort and that we were shite is bollocks. If Wiley were not disappearing up Sir Alex?s jacksie so often he?d have sent Scholes off for a second yellow and would have given us a fair share of the decisions, all things which would have had some bearing on the outcome of the game. Moyes ISN?T the Messiah. But compare this squad, HIS squad, with the one he inherited and tell me we?ve not improved.

Thanks for the responses lads.
I cannot take any positives from three points dropped, we got what we deserved.
Steve you are so right in what you say.
Anybody who has played this game at any level could have seen the inadequacies in our game.
Fuck it ! Roll on the Ukranes.

Steve, I don’t know about a porn star....I bow to your superior knowledge on that subject...but he DID look a bit like your favourite artist..James Blunt. That’s not rhyming slang.Just thought I’d point that out.
I see the comments I made about people on this site applying for the next managers vacancy have been deleted....getting a bit like the old Soviet Union on here, it’s not as if I was actually slagging people off, just wondering why they continue in their day to day jobs when, with the vast experience and insight into the beautiful game, they don’t manage a Premiership club....
