Everton Customer Service

Has anyone else experienced problems purchasing tickets for the Carling Cup game?
I'm not a season ticket holder as I live in Leeds. I don't have the opportunity to go directly to the box office. Therefore, as these tickets went on general sale today I thought I would ring the box office.
Many phone calls later including being told I'm 1st in the queue for 40 mins I still have no tickets. In addition, I've sent two emails but no response. Another example of the inept Everton customer service?

Why dont you use the e ticketing service mate? No need for call queuing and it’ll save your details for your next online purchase.

Yet another example of Evertons total ineptitude. After visiting the truly awful "official" website I have found it impossible to purchase tickets versus Sheff. Wednesday. How many more exiled Blues must they alienate?

Usually use e-ticketing for tickets. Unfortunately you can never get tickets for away games online.

Also having trouble getting hold of a single ticket for the Carling Cup Game. I?ll be damned if I?m going to travel 120 mile round trip to purchase a ticket when I live less than 1/4 of a mile from Hillsborough.
Eticketing isn?t giving me the option of purchasing online, either.
So, has anyone got a spare they can sell me?

Catch 22, Wyness is a pocket filling clown who doesn’t give a toss and BK thinks the sun shines out of his overpaid arse, don’t expect any change in the near future and worse still these idiots are leading us to the promised land.

I’ve been trying gey ahold of Everton customer service for 2 weeks. I bought a ticket for the Middlesboro game 3 weeks ago and am traveling from the states but not sure how I will get it. I’m assuming that they wont mail it as i’ve not received it yet. Is there a pick-up window at Goodison? Must be...

Steve Beahan - Where do these exile blues gather when the game is televised?

I too hav had the same problem, Im an exiled blue living in the midlands and wanted tickets to the villa game, can’t get them via e-ticket that I am registered for and have phoned the box office a number of times and when you finally get to position 1, a voice says the line is busy, please try again later. What is this rubish, has anyone ever spoken to the box office?
I have also sent 2 emails to the box office and customer sevice and have had no reply. What a complete waste!!!!!!!!!!!!

Davin - There is a pick up office on the corner of the Park end and Bullens Road.

I have had EXACTLY the same experience as Alistair Bates. The only way to get tickets is to go through option 3 then option 3 again. You get through to Ticketmaster but they answer as ’Ticketmaster on behalf of Everton Football Club’. They can deal with any purchases
Is there a department within the club that is run well?

EXACTLEY the same position. I live in Sheffield and cant get to Goodison to pick up tickets. After phoning up (including getting to the front of the queue after 20mins only to be told ring back later!) I was told that the only way to get tickets is to apply by post or fax!
Have just managed to talk to somone at the customers services centre today (who was actually quite helpfull) who told me that my request was on the system but hadnt been processed yet and to ring back in the next couple of days. Apparently i should get tickets as their are quite a few left. I’m not convinced that im going to end up getting any to be honest.
Why tickets cant be purchased on the internet after they go on general sale is beyond me. Not only is it a b*stard to get tickets for Evertonians not in Liverpool, but it must be a huge waste of money for the club to employ people to go through letters and faxes with ticket requests.

Been waiting 6 weeks for Evertonia cards for me and my daughter. 4 priority purchase periods already gone out of 19!
Spent all Summer looking to renew, but they only got the forms out and the details on the website on Aug 1. Expect they say they have been inundated - so why leave it till Aug 1 to send the forms out?!!
Are Everton the only Club that actyally does its best to stop its own fans attending its matches?!

RESULT (maybe) - I am also in exactly the same position. I live in Hillsborough, and spent 2 hours on the phone going round and round yesterday with ticketmaster and the box office, nobody knowing the situation. I have just faxed (gulp!) my credit card details to the club, and been told they will call me back to confirm whether my ticket application has been succesful! Why can’t they just take it over the phone? What a joke! Anyway, I am now holding my breath, waiting for a call from the club to confirm my tickets, or more likely discover at month end that somebody is using my credit card details at their local offy.

Here’s a cheeky thought maybe a webmaster or local creates a website offering to buy tickets in person and post them on behalf of our supporters further afield, it’s not hard to setup a paypal account and website and can’t be any worse than those gobshites at the club.

Just another rant!
Popped down to Goodison on Monday in my lunch hour to buy Kharkiv tickets only to be faced with a long queue and two out of six windows open. 45 mins later and 10 feet along the queue I had to give up and return to work.
Ordered the tickets on Monday via eticketing, but wasn’t told if they’d be posted or to collect them on the day (surely they won’t post them three days before the game??. So, i thoght i’d give the box office a ring just to check. Big mistake!
Phoned at 8:05am to be told that the office was closed and to phone back at 8:00am! Subsequently phoned back 5 minutes later to go straight in at queue position 1! I’m still there 25 mins later.
Do I hang up or wait?
