Can anybody who regularly watches the reserve side tell me about this kid? Is he an out-and-out winger? Left or right side preferred?

Is he anywhere close to being given the odd twenty minutes in the Premier League side ? just to see how a winger could fit? A possible for the Sheffield Wednesday Cup Tie?

From what I've seen, Glen, he's more of a central midfield playmaker type who will probably need to bulk up a little before he is ready for the big time. Talented-looking player but a little on the small side. If he is to get a run out this season, I'd be surprised if it was earlier than the tail end of the campaign.

That’s what I’ve seen as well. It goes for all the kids playing for the reserves: they look talented but they have to build up some muscle.

Thanks for that guys.

First one to speak to David Moyes can maybe place an order for a quick winger in the next transfer window.

Bring one of these to Goodison and watch the Yak and Vaughan go in the last four months of the season.

I’ve seem him play a couple of times and I reckon he’s gonna be a decent premier league player - not going to set the world alight like we had expected but he’ll make the grade. I reckon he’ll be better than Osman anyway.

This season is probably a bit too soon for him.

On the subject of the young players playing in the reserves. Are there any players that look talented enough to maybe get a chance this season or next? I guess this question is more aimed at the guys who actually go and watch the reserves.

I’ve not seen the ressies this season. However, I’m still hearing good things of Keiran Agard, Jose Baxter and Jack Rodwell.

JP Kissock needs to grow about a foot and put on about 5 stone to even be considered for the first team. I don’t think he will make it. He’s got bags of skill, spent his early career up front, but has been shoved onto the wing because of his stature.

I believe JP was echo young sports personality of the year a few years ago. There were certainly high hopes for him then, I just hope he has a gowth spurt and goes on a Rooney diet.
