Fall Out?

Comments (11)

Anyone know anything about the alleged fall out between Moysie & Johnno, being reported in the papers this morning?? Or is it a case of the press chuckin' shite around on our big day??

The press will be making it up again. If Johnson is dropped or rested tonight it is inevitable some tabloid will speculate something untrue.
Dont let the facts spoil the story. It was Jagielka the other week, Lescott the week before. The press dont like us because we serve lukewarm tea and cold pies at half time.

I would imagine that Moyes is going to field Yakubu and Mcfadden up front tonight.

Whilst AJ should be disappointed, its hardly a surprise - he hasnt scored for everton or england for about a dozen games.

Still, the subs bench should be swelled by two extra for UEFA games (so space for Vic and AJ) so I fully expect AJ to come on at some point in the second half to appease him.

I don?t care who comes on for Everton as long as we win and get a few goals to boot. Don?t forget we need the 12th man to night lads - let it rip!!

Sometimes it does a player good to be benched. Gives you a kick up the arse. You watch, if AJ is on the bench when he comes on he will be going all guns blazing!

I wouldnt be surprised if AJ is benched tonight, as long as its McFadden who replaces him and not Anichebe as one or two papers are suggesting - Yakubu and Vic up front wouldnt work as they’re too similar in style. I think that Moyes has an eye on Villa Park on Sunday so resting the likes of AJ and Arteta makes sense... as long as we win tonight that is!

The only website I can see saying there is a fall-out is one called tribalfootball.com

I have to say that I think the story is made up from halve truths. What I amagine is that AJ has a knock of some kind and Moysey is reluctant to risk him.

This is, therefore, a good opportunity to give AJ a rest (using the squad we now have to keep a strong team). AJ (like most people in this situation) is not happy coz he wants to play every minute of every game.

What gets reported is only half the story and I’m sure the relationship between the two is fine and that in reality AJ understands the situation without being totally happy.

I dont think a "knock" is true. Mcfadden performs in europe for scotland on a regular basis, against the top teams, and so is an obvious shoe-in for our first euro fixture. He is also on form. AJ makes way.

Johnson starts tonight so i guess it puts the speculation to bed.

Hopefully they have fallen out cause AJ is a useless tube of skin. West Sham wanted him for £20m what a joke. Tonights performance from him, Neville and Hibbert was an embarassment. Top 4 team don t make me laugh.
