The only benefit of last night is that surely now there can only be a small rump of deluded fans who don't see the 'Average One' for what he is.
You can be sure however that in the next few days the deluded brigade will be out in force leading the backlash - the words 'progress', 'Walter Smith', 'not fighting relegation' and 'stability' wil be used frequently.
However, this time there should be no going back - Moyes is without dispute totally incapable of putting out a side which even pretends to play good football. He is the onest of one-trick ponies and the club is simply treading water.
Towards the end of last season I had to listen in disbelief as fellow blues argued that Moyes had turned the corner and things would now change ? well they haven't and never will. I will happily go record now in saying that I want Moyes out even if we finish 4th this season as I simply cant take this shite football any more. It's killing the club and it will kill the fan base.
Liverpool sacked Houllier when they finished 4th and went on to better things ? why are our standards so much lower? I will for one will never settle for this obscene imitation of the beautiful game.
ps - what are the odds on Moyes exiting all 3 cup competitions at the first attempt? MOYES OUT!

If any smart arse make this comment, then you obviously aren’t attending the games and watching the utter crap Moyes serves up.

of the same.Its pointless garbagge
with no means to the end.How much
humiliation can one set of fans take before they impode.
Qualifying for Europe with Moyes as manager is not worth the hassle.Embarrasing exits and world wide laughter is all we achieve. If Moyes was any kind of a man he would fall on his sword tomorrow. As for Alan Irvine I have had my suspiscions for a few years now the it is he who is dictating tactics to Moyes. Its a very strange set up when you see the Caveman with the note pad telling DM what needs to be done.>Most top clubs have a blend on the bench. Coaching staff consisting of experience,a local player,a former player,a continetal type continental type etc.We have two dour jocks who
cant teach any player anything new because they know fuck all themselves.

I’m not really critiscing people who already wanted Moyes out this time (although you are wrong ;) ). More the people who seemed pretty happy with moyes until after the game, whereby they now want him out, out, out! If that describes you, you know nothing about football.

Good words, especially when turned around to the wtitter of the post.
If we finish 4th you still want him out do you? Deffinitely laughable that one, if he progresses we want him out....doh!
Why the comparrison with Foolier? have we been a constant top 3/4 side whilst I wasn’t looking?
Get a grip the lot of you, yes the football is ugly to watch and downright horribe at times but show me a team outside of the usual suspects that play freeflowing attractive football with the multi million pound players.
It must be Moyes fault that we never won, we didn’t lose either you know, and it must be Moyes fault thatAJ missed the two pens that would have made it 3-1.
On the other hand I conceed it is Moyes fault that Hibbert is still playing...

I?ll be the first to admit that Wednesday night was a tactical fiasco but on balance the positives he has brought to the club far outway the negatives. A large proportion of our best players were out and show me any team outside the top four where you can remove three or four key individuals and not suffer creatively.
We will go through and all this will be forgotten about in two weeks time. COYB

Rooney could see what Moyes was all about, the man cant work with talent, he never had it as a player and he doesnt have it as a manager. Its a shame Kenwright has a similar disposition, because we would have been well shot of the clown after our last European sojourn. Moyes out Sparky in.

Common thread: neanderthal tactics from manager reducing chances in open play to nil. Hoofball from defenders bypassing midfield.
Consequence: frustrated forwards, facing the wrong way all the time, having to deal with head high passes. No width, crosses from the wing or pacey interplay.
Conclusion: loss of confdence. Players made to look worse than they are. Hostile crowd reaction. Further loss of confidence. Penalty blasted into orbit.
Come on can all our forwards really be that bad?
