The Mail Bag

Victory Shield Trio

Does anybody know much about the three lads who were called up for the Sky Sports Vvictory Shield games? I know that all three were involved in the Milk Cup last year.

Jose Baxter - or Joe Baker if you listen to the announcer at the Metalist game. He's a forward and English and according to Ray Hall better than Wayne Rooney was at his age.

Adam Davies - never heard of him and have no idea what position he plays.

Lee McArdle - Welsh forward who is Liverpool born and bred.

Does anyone know anything more about these lads?

Well it appears that united are sniffing around already (http://www.redcafe.net/archive/index.php/t-119684.html)

Also Jose Baxter has already signed contracts with Nike and Pro Active according to one lad (http://www.toffeetalk.com/Jose-Baxter-t3229.html)

watched Jose a couple of times looks very promising also very aggresive!!!

Adam is a 15 year old 6 foot 3 goalkeeper who has been at the acedemy for just over a year and come on leaps and bounds good prospect.
