Watching Man City on Saturday, it was good to see how football should be played: simple but effective passing of the ball, and intelligent running off the ball.

So Davey, could we just have a bit of the same today against the Boro, instead of hoofing the ball into the penalty area where we have no-one except a couple of midgets trying to challenge six-foot odd defenders to no avail? Remember what Brian Clough said, "If God had meant football to be played in the air he would have put grass up there."

I have got a feeling the sky will be our most common route today. Expect 6ft Yakubu against 6ft 4 Wheter aswell as 5ft 10 Mcfadden against 6ft 2 Woodgate.

If Moyes plays the proper players then I think we will break down a stubburn Boro side. If he plays players like Arteta(hopefully), Pienaar and Osman then we will have a better chance of keeping the ball and creating. If he goes with Neville/Jagielka and Carsley in the middle which I expect then we are in for a frustrating day.

I expect Boro to sit back as they did last year so it is up to us to break them down being the home team and if we dont there will be a lot of angry people. Te league is a lot more competitive and the likes of City, Villa, West ham, Spurs and Blackburn are all at similar levels to ourselves so it is going to be tough.

We look so much better with the ball on the floor and the current team has so many of Snow White’s mates in it that hoofball is pointless, I worry about meeting Man City as I fear they will give us a good spanking and footballing lesson rolled into one.
