"For the last 15 minutes Everton haven?t put two passes together"
?Everton have done quite well to keep it to one goal to be honest? (First Half)
"Everton playing deep, struggling to get out of their own half"
"Everton stuck on the edge of the 18 yard box inviting pressure on themselves"
"Everton have got to start posing a threat"
?Everton are looking very naïve?
?Everton need to find some creativity from somewhere?

None of these my words but facts, not opinions, which the more observant amongst us will have become all too accustomed with.

A clueless, shambolic and impotent first half. Midfield completely non-existent AGAIN, forwards rendered useless AGAIN

The turning point for Moyes? ? let's fucking hope so as we'll need a lot more guile to progress further in this competition.

I don't know how well we actually played because I couldn't see the game but I for one am thrilled that we have progressed to the group stages of the UEFA cup.

We can dissect the details for ages (and we will, I'm sure!) but at the end of the day we are through.

Well done lads...have a great trip back and continue your form this weekend against the Barcodes... COYB!

Bad performance, good result. Football is all about results we won. End of.

What a bore! Fell asleep at half-time, what happened?

What is that small print on the bottom of Yakubu's shirt? 'If not entirely satisfied with this product return for a full refund.' No? Shit. We're stuck with him. Roll on the day when it's Anichebe and Vaughan together up front.

And why did Kevin Ratcliffe keep calling them the Metal-arses?

I for one wasnt too happy with the performance, the defence was awful but well done blues.

well done joleon, james and victor, well taken goals boys.

and also can i say well done stephen pienaar, of late he seems to be the only player who gives 110% every game. a great little player for the future i think.

jagielka, pack your bags your out on loan to grimsby

they were a good side, the pitch was shite, the match officials were very poor once again and to play football at 9.45 at night is completely ridiculous.

but this is why im a blue, its never a dull moment, ok i nearly had 4 cardiacs but hey were through and all i can say is well done.

we have beat a team who have a solid home record, are used to winning games (hence they finished third last season) and have a lot more experience in european football than we do. give the blues a bit of credit. they were a dangerous team in the sense that we did not know who the hell they were and what they could do. moyes may have made some selection mistakes but he turned it around for us. well done blues.

Anthony: We won the game! Good to see you’re as positive as ever. Glass is half full and all that

Paul, not half full mate but the dregs

If we’d put out that first half showing against a stronger side like Ajax we’d definitely be dead and buried
