Travel to Germany

Still lots of rooms available and I am flying in to Munich and coming back via Frankfurt (very good train service). What I do find odd that hasn't helped prices of flights into Germany is that Bolton are playing Bayern on the same night. A great UEFA decision, probably done in partnership with all the affiliated airlines.

hi,

we (two of us) booked our flights on the day the fixtures were announced. We got our flights to Nuremberg, via Amsterdam for 150 Euro’s each. Also have booked two nights in Nuremberg to sample the Bavarian beer !! All that we need now are two tickets...
We are also season ticket holders and as usual with Everton, we are the last to know.....

there has to be a minimum of 5% for away fans, i think the ground holds 47000 so on that basis there should be at least 2500 available - the club will aim to sell about 1000 through offical travel packages so that leaves 1500... i’m gonna have to get up early for that queue!

if that is the case then we are all fucked !!

The fans who went to the metalist game (away), will rightly get priority for the first 1500 tickets.... leaving the rest of us to scrap for the bits of leftovers....

a lot of the mentalists went offical so they will again but nothings been confirmed as yet in terms of ticket allocations so we might get a thousend more tickets - the main problem is that the club dont keep us in the loop. they announced this morning details will be available later today- well its eight o’clock and as usual no more details

We’re flying to Prague, getting the train up the next day, then flying back to Prague on the saturday. That was £70 return, but obviously we’ve got train costs on top of that.

As for tickets, its even less reassuring to know we’re not the only ones who are a bit anxious.

Been waiting since 11 o' clock this morning for the clubs "later announcement" as usual not a fucking dicky bird.
Sometimes it really pisses me off when I think of the incompetent twats that are running this club into the ground.
The halfwits in charge would fuck a boiled egg up.

They have done it again.... The fuckwits at the offical web site, have now removed the link.... and low and behold, no information on the nurenberg situation.

If you hit the link on the official site (fan services) (SERVICE!! WHAT A JOKE!!) it will take you to the travel site, which I’ve been "refreshing" since 09-32 this morning when the travel package link appeared, and now at 23-30ish I’ve had enough.
Why oh why do we act as lemmings following this disastrously run club.

Joe M - There is a bus that takes one and a half hours to Frankfurt. You then take the ICE train to Nurnberg. Another 2 and a half hours - Probably worth staying in Frankfurt overnight and travelling to Nurnberg on Thursday morning.
