Viagogo

Have any season ticket holders managed to sell their tickets on Viagogo yet? Every time you go on to buy it says they are unavailable until a match is sold out. As most matches are not sold out until the last minute it is too late to give your tickets away instead of selling them.

I think getting your hands on a ticket for saturday is going to be bloody difficult. When I purchased my tickets I said that I will collect them as the postal strikes etc etc. IT IS NOT CLUB POLICY was the answer, I gave them previous examples of ticketing fiascos/cock ups attributed to CLUB POLICY, but would they listen, not on your life. Consequently me and many hundreds more will now have to queue for our tickets. I can only immagine the confusion on the day. Queue for 20 mins, Oh not here your tickets at the Park End, Oh not here your Tickets are at the Bullens Road etc etc. Why do we bother I ask myself, but we all know the answer to that....

Eddy, in answer to your original question, yes I’ve sold my season ticket for the Derby as I’ve "upgraded" for the game and none of the usual takers were interested. Very easy to register with Viagogo and offer it for sale and it sold a couple of hours later but like you say, this will probably be the only game you can use it for as it sold out. Also, they sell the ticket for £35 but I only get £25 - nice mark up for someone! I only hope it has gone, as they stated, to an Evertonian or the boys in the Paddock will have a thing or two to say!

I was wondering about that, as I have joined and as I am going to watch the Hatton fight in Vegas I will be missing the Fulham game.
How does it work? Do they only come to you when it is a sell out, as there is not chance this game will be a sell out.

VIA NO GO would be a more apt name.
I have tried on four or five occasions to buy / sell and it has not worked.
When I asked EFc they said there was a technical problem. Seeing as we were 25% of the way thru the season at the time it seems to be another example of the poor management of our ticketing system.
Just imagine how many extra we could sell if ticket shister, via no go and the good old box office actually did what the said on the tin!!?

Amanda, why so quick to point the finger at Everton? Viagogo is an independant company and represent the majority of clubs including Man Utd, Cheslea etc. Any probs are their fault not Joan’s at the ticket office.

Mark, if Everton get into bed with Via gogo and it doesn’t work it is evertons fault period.
If they weren’t convinced that the service would work then they should not advertise it.
They did and they have got to carry the can
I don’t think Amanda was having a go at Joe personally.

Bullshit
Viagogo are the leading company in their field and they offer a valuable service worldwide- Everton partnered up with them to be able to offer a great service to the fans which otherwise would not be posible. Was it a bad management mistake by just about every top flight football team in Europe and Basketball, American Football, Baseball teams in the states to ’get into bed’ with Viagogo? Or just Everton
On this occasion your scapegoat is innocent - I’m sure it won’t take you too long to find another.

How the hell d’you work out its Evertons fault Gareth?? On that basis that would mean if lastminute.com or expedia have a problem with their site, then every airline, hotel and holiday operator shares the blame. We all know thats simply not the case - you cant blame the technical failings of one website at the door of the companies who sell their products or services on them.
We’re supposed to be followers of Everton because we love the club and back them; sadly thats not the case on here.

If I buy shares on the recommendation of my stockbroker and they go pearshaped - who do I go and speak to ? Likewise if Everton advise me to sell my ticket through Viagogo and they continually balls it up then who is my gripe with ? Who is the fool ? The fool or the fool who follows the fool

Guys guys we are talking about a third party ticket site and are even fighting over it. I agree that Everton choose companies to offer services to their supporters then they need to ensure these are good reliable sites, but hey ho , cant we just get back to football
