Contempt for Rafa

Comments (10)

Just back from the match. Couldn't argue with the two Liverpool penalties but could dispute the yellow card for Kuyt instead of a red for what looked like an horrendous two-footed tackle. Only saw the Lescott incident from the back of the Park End, so can't make any comment yet.

The one thing that has got my blood boiling is not Clattenberg, who I generally rate as a very good referee, not Moyes who I thought tried to win the game even with 10 men, not the Everton players who gave 100% to try and get something out of the game ? no, it''s the post match comments from Benitez who basically stokes the fires again after his "small team" comments from last season. Make no mistake, his English is not brilliant, but he KNOWS the impact of what he is saying. He well understands the insulting nature of what he is saying says. Lescott is a diver now apparently.

Well fortunately under his management, Liverpool are unlikely to win any further major honours. Despite his many faults, give me Moyes's honesty and integrity any day!

Gerrard is one asshole , diving for a penalty and telling the referee to send off Hibbo, him and his big mouth manager are a disgrace and somethingshould be done but alas it never will ........... when will teams like Everton ever get any justice .?????

I have no respect for the low life slug Benitez. He is an obnoxious smug individual. His comments are unbelievable and despite the money at his disposal has not got any chance of winning the leauge with that outfit.
Listening to the radio driving home St John andAldridge could not believe his comments about Gerrard playing with no brain only heart.
Hopefully Stevie G will be putting in a transfer request as this could be the start of a unrepairable rift.

James, my consolation listening to the arrogant, portly waiter was that I think even the RS fans are beginning to see him for what he is. Credit to Ian St. John though, a red through and through, but talking straight despite his obvious and understandable bias.

Benitez has become for me, the most ignorant and most despised man in English football. He talks utter shite and is a 100% Gobshite.

I was right in line with Gerrard when he was running toward the goal and I am sure he slipped; Moyes also says this in his Sky interview. We can judge this better on TV replays tonight.

To get a man sent off is disgraceful but it just sums up what kind of slimey twat Gerrard is; I really hate him, good player don’t get me wrong but he is a smug, arrogant prick.

The ref bottled it and probably cost us the whole game; he should be sent down to the lower leagues after todays overall performance.

However, there were some very positives signs today and we must build on them; Lescott was superb down the left and defensively we done well even with 10 men.

COYB, bring on Larissa & Derby.

I cannot beleive what I have seen today. There surely had to be a penalty (or two)for the foul(s) on Lescott and for that shitehouse Benitez to call Lescott a diver is a disgrace. If anyone dived it is that moron Gerrard. Ive despised the Red Shite for 37 years but not so much as today.
I dont think Ive ever been so angry. Well done to Moyes and the Blues for chasing the 3 points even with 10 (then 9) men.

Benitez is turning to be a really insidious human being, with his after-match comments getting to be more and more sly and underhanded.

I’m disgusted with the ref but proud of the players, they couldn’t have done any more, never gave up hope and always looked like they could nick a goal; I even fancied us to win it after hibbo was (wrongly) sent off.

They got the points but we’ve still got our pride, even the most biased of redshites would confirm that they got the important decisions given their way.

Heads up lads, we’ve got a bunch of foreigners to defeat on thursday...

It would never happen but it would be nice for an inerviewer to go up to the fat spanish waiter and show him on the telly screen the blatent drag down by Carragher and then look up and say to the prick, "So you think he dived then?"

I bet the fat prick then loses the ability o speak English. The cheating twats wreck my head so much it is unreal

Just seen the interview with Carragher on Sky Sports regarding the non-penalty in the last minute. He says that it's a man's game and basically insinuated that Lescott made the most of it. What a tosser he really is. Has he forgotten that he had both hands around his torso and dragged him down, and will he say the same after seeing his captain dive for a penalty as soon as his foot crossed the penalty area line. The latter offence clearly started about 20 yards from the area, but he went down when he was in the area. Twats the pair of them!!

Benitez really is showing himself to be an arrogant and ignorant prick. His comments are getting more outrageous all the time. I actually think he is delibrlately making demeaning comments about EFC, perhaps in some sort of attempmt to endear himself to the RS supporters but i think even they are embarrased by some of his comments
