Luton Tickets

Comments (6)

Does anyone know if these have sold out? According to the OS these were supposed to go on general sale yesterday, but they're still not available through my eTicketing account and the box office (HA!) makes no mention of the Luton game, just Derby and Nurnberg. They normally announce on the website if games are a sellout, but no mention of this.

My first action was to call the box office but anyone who's tried this recently will understand..."7th in queue, 5th, 2nd, 1st, goodbye!"

Paul I know exactly what you mean the club is an absolute joke. If the club cannot get its act together for the Carling Cup then what hope do you hold out for them getting it right for the UEFA Cup. Below is an email I wrote to all the contact email addresses on the O/S:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have already sent one email about availability for tickets to the Carling cup game away against Luton Town and have got no reply. I have tried the box office since 10.00am and have got through to a recorded mesage which states "all our operators are busy call back later" then the phone goes dead! All I want to do is buy a ticket to watch a game of football not borrow a million pounds. It’s not rocket science but after all this is Everton Football Club and to be frank as a business organisation they quite frankly do not have any business accumen. If I am the only fan who has expeienced this problem then I will apologise but I could probably guess that there are frankly hundreds if not thousands of fans who would like to buy a ticket but are faced with too many obstacles. The club is missing out on revenue every time this happens so you might have thought that this would be reviewed and changes be made to be able to book tickets online for away games. Alas I am probably wasting my time in writing this email as I will probably not recieve a reply.

Regards

A very disgruntled Evertonian

P.S If Everton F.C do have a marketing strategy then please show me where to find such a document.

I recieved a reply much to my surprise and it said:

Dear Brendan,

Apologies, that you have been unable to contact the Fan Centre to purchase a ticket. I have forwarded your email on to a Customer Service Advisor who I have asked to call you. Please let me know if you are not contacted.

Kind regards,

Patrick

Lo and behold it’s now 5pm and no contact from anybody at the club. I called the box office at 16.40 and eventually spoke to somebody in the box office who said tickets for the Luton game were still available and the lady put me on hold but after 20 mins on hold I lost patience and put the phone down. If the company I work for operated like this then heads would roll because the business would suffer. This is what happens when you outsource everything Bully Wyness! EFC are a joke a laughing stock! At least those fuckin’ hillbillies accross the park have got some sort of a clue how to run a fuckin’ football club not like the tossers in charge down at Goodison! FFS get your act together!

Brendan - Dont hold your breath mate. I emailed the box office last Monday with a simple request. By Wednesday i had not recieved a reply so i senty it agian and also copied in general enquiries and again asked for a response. Still nothing. Emailed both of them again on Thursday with the previous two mails attached and guess what?? Still no reply - simply hopeless.

I completely agree that the way Everton treat the fans for purchasing tickets is a disgrace. Trying to talk to somebody at the club about questions they do not give answers for on the website is like trying to get a good decision out of Clattenburg! It will not happen. Can anybody tell me if people can get tickets for matches, specifically nuremberg, on behalf of season ticket holders. My mate wants to go but due to working hours can not get to the ground. With the right documentation could I get his ticket for him????????
Please do not put me on hold!!!!!!!! hahah

I’ve lost count of the number of emails I’ve sent into the club, mainly via the ’Contact Us’ section of the homepage of the OS! How can this be allowed to happen every single time we get to the next round of a competition? Maybe that’s why Moyes never bothers with the cups!

After finding no infomation on the main website or e-ticketing page I rang the box office on Monday. After queing for over an hour I was told by the member of staff that tickets could not be bought over the phone, only by application by email or fax. I made my application and asked for a confirmation to be sent when my order was processed - surprise surprise I havent had my order acknowledged nor recieved any tickets.
