Nurnberg tickets available

I am reliably informed that the official allocation to EFC is in excess of 4,000 but EFC has only taken up 2,000 or so. Apparently, this is to create a sense of desperation and hopefully lead to the club selling more of the highly priced official day trips.

Now I know that we are scraping around for every £ we can get but would it not be better to have 4,000 Blues roaring the team to victory rather than have up to 2000 empty seats at the Everton end? It would also show the watching public that EFC is a well supported club who have well behaved fans — and this might attract more fans to us. So come on, Everton, take up the full allocation and let us, the fans, have them.

If, as we are led to believe, that the maximum away allocation permitted by Uefa is 5% of capacity then the 2,000 to 2,900 (depending on who you believe) tickets that Everton made available is about right. Certainly, 4,000 would be too many on that basis.

Well done Besitikas, now could it happen that thr RS finish bottom of their group , out of europe thrashed by Arsenal on Sunday out of the title race what a great Xmas present. I don't care if the fat waiter thinks they control games as long as they get beat, justice and revenge are so sweet.

Sounds like another conspiracy theory to me, Keith.

Come on, Kenwright & Co. do enough shady business already, there’s no need to make stuff up! This is getting ridiculous. Quit assuming the worst.

I agree with Jimmy. I just don’t believe it.

There’s enough to complain about already, it’s really sad to see people make stuff like this up.

’Reliable source’ but you’re too cowardish to use your real name. Pfah.

I was informed of the same, 4000 tickets Nurenberg offered us and we only requested 2100. If you know someone in Germany who lives over there with a German Address they can apply for 2 tickets from the 30th October on the Nurenberg FC website it might be worth a go. I think you might pick a ticket up on the black market from Germans, are they that intrested in this game I dont think they are but you never know.

I just find it annoying that they won’t just say how many tickets they’ve received. It’s just a lack of transparency which is what gets up most people’s nose I think.

3 of us are going over to watch the game anyway, just hoping it’s on TV now as doubt I’ll be able to afford the tout prices!!

I have a suspicion that Nuernberg have already sold all of their tickets, the gameis not mentioned on their ticket website. Therefore there probably won’t be anymore available.

Got two tickets from Nuremberg this morning (29 Oct), though I had to get a Frankfurt fan to do all the talking. All being well, tickets will be available for collection from the ground no sooner than 2 hours before kick-off. COYB!!!
