Everton TV and the Match!!!

Comments (9)

After seeing live coverage advertised on the Official Site, I got up early to watch it... only once I logged in it was nowhere to be found. I saw on the Blue Room there was somebody else having problems. Did anybody manage to get the match from the Official Site?

Hi Darren, I’m from oz and had the same trouble, except i was persistent and managed to find the link. They had is well hidden which was frustrating to say the least. The links once you log on initially don’t seem to work most of the time.
I can’t remember for the life of me which tab on the top i had to press to get it, but it wasn’t obvious. They really need a kick up the arse with EvertonTV. A lot of the links don’t seem to work.
Both times i’ve watched a live game on Everton TV the commentary seemed to be turned off for the first 30 mins or so. Not sure why. I can’t complain about the quality though. We had it on fullscreen and it was very good.

It took me most of the 1st half to find the link. For some reason it is not under ’match’ or available under the ’live’ link but you have to go to ’videos’. Unbelievable they make it so difficult. I then had major problems watching the game and didn’t have audio til 2nd half. Think my crap connection didn’t help with the streaming though. Good luck.

I had similar problems, the webpage is a nightmare. If I logged into Everton TV it was not available but if you went to the Everton FC website and clicked on the main page link (after already logging in) it was available, I cant quite get my head around that one?

Also, I had sound from the start but the commentary didnt kick in till about half an hour. This was exactly the same for the Kharkiv game, why are these things so hard for Everton to sort out?

I remember when we played Bolton this year, the audio coverage was the Liverpool V Derby game for the first 5 minutes - a disgrace!

At the end of the day the club hasnt got a clue. Everton TV is a minefield. If you want to buy a car or take out either a mortgage or a credit card then this process is seemless and easy. I fear once you have paid then the club have got you. Has anybody ever seen the highlights on form midnight (UK only) as they advertise? I sometimes come in at 1 or 2 (from work) and it is never there

Brian,
Bit late for todays game but try googling WATCH LIVE GAMES ON YOUR PC. Pain in the arse downloading all the channels you need but I did it yesterday and watched Chelski v Man C. Quality is very good. Tends to freeze a bit at first but as it buffers in this improves. Watch it though, when the game finished and I went to log off the site, underneath was a HARD porn site leaving nowt to the imagination! Make sure your kids aint with you when you watch. I think it is a disgrace how these things ride piggy-back on decent law-abiding websites! It Costs £6.95 for the footy and £9.95 for the footy and films. Just pay the £6.95 and you may be spared the porn! That was my mistake.

The mailbag seems to be down at the moment (I got in via the list of mails on the right of the homepage) so can I just take this opportunity to say how impressed I was with the first half performance on Thursday. It doesn’t matter how poor the opposition where (and they weren’t that poor) the fact is we played with imagination and we played it on the DECK! The second goal especially was a dream and if it had been scored by one of the more ’FASHIONABLE’ teams it would have been replayed time and time again. As it is. we will probably never see it again on TV! C’Est la vie!
