Credit Where It's Due

Nice one Lyndon
'Moyes has shown a willingness to rotate his players somewhat so far this season as he seeks to lessen the impact of intermittent fixture congestion that occurs either side of the international breaks.'
The reason why we have fixture congestion is nothing to do with international breaks, it's due to our success in both Europe and the League Cup. Give Moyes a bit of credit for god's sake.
The institutionalised anti-Moyes animosity of the editorial board is beginning to get on my nerves.

Michael wasn't keen on publishing this one, Joe, but I'm going to air it if only to illustrate people's utterly bemusing paranoia about this website.
How on earth you can construe my comments as anti-Moyes or even remotely in the realm of "animosity" is beyond me because they certainly weren't in the slightest intended to be.
The primary cause for fixture congestion is scheduling by FIFA, UEFA, or the FA (e.g. international breaks cause fixture congestion because matches like Carling Cup ties can't be held in midweek when there are back-to-back Euro/World Cup qualifiers on Saturday and Wednesday). Pointing that out is not lessening any "success" Moyes may have had in keeping his team in the cup competitions..
I am not "anti-Moyes", Joe. I may criticise him from time to time — as does every Evertonian I have come across bar Richard Dodd — but please don't assume that I am against him for that reason.

Joe, I think that you are well off the mark with the above comments. The lads at TW towers works their nads off providing this FREE website. The site that provides you, me and every other reader/poster the chance to air their views or read the comments of others.
.. And guess what? The editors have an opinion too.
