Yak spat

Comments (3)

I understand Yak has been left out of the Nigeria squad for the next game due to a spat with Vogts about being left on the bench.

I am surprised he hasn't had one with Moyes who only plays him in the league.

The good news is that he may not get selected for the ANC in January, how this effects future work permits I dont know.

I am hoping they leave Anichebe out too as he has already had an incident with Vogts too, as did our own David Weir when he was Scotland manager.

He never fell out with Weir he came out in press & blamed him for almost single handedly costing a very poor Scotland side a game against an even poorer nation (possibly faroes or someone of that ilk).
Weir came out & responded saying that Vogts was a joke and shouldn’t be critisizing players in public as its a team game etc etc.

He then went on to retire from int. football till good ol’ Walter returned and persuaded big Davie outta retirement.

Concerning the original thread, I’m the same with all international countries even england. Fuck them, I wish all of our players would fall out with thier national coaches/team & dedicated themselves solely to us.
