Glorious Goodison

Comments (3)

Yesterday was one of those days when you realise why you started watching football in the first place. We all love a grandstand finish and the unrestrained joy at the end will stay long in the memory. Looking down on the tumult in the St End it made me realise after the game then when Goodison rocks there is no beter sight in football. I don't know how many, if any, last minute winners we have left at the old lady so I am going to cherish every possible one.

On the game itself I have to say that Moyes reading of a game and in particular his use of subs continues to leave me in despair at times. When a game is going away from us he stands like a rabbit in th headlights and simply hopes for the best. I feel like shaking him as he if he can ovecome his natural caution he may yet become the great manager his supporters delude themselves he already is.

At the game yesterday. We nearly blew it and it would have been a travesty if we did.

Cannot understand the hoof ball to the Yak as he never even challenges for the ball in the air.

We have a lot of top class footballers here now and when we pass the ball we can be as good as any of the top sides.

Would also have doubts about Neville...

Lets not kid ourselves - Goodison only rocked for the last 5 minutes and that was great, but lets face it for the rest of the game, and particularly the first half, the stadium was as quiet as i have ever heard at a premiership game
